What I have realised about Wenger is yes he can spot a good player and gets praised for this.

But.... when they get here he hasn't got a clue what to do with them.

The best players like Henry and Sanchez just work it out for themselves but others like the Ox and Wilshere just regress under Wenger.

I will always be annoyed about how Wenger basically killed Wilshere by over playing him and getting him injury prone.
Under a top class manager he could well be one of the finest players in the country by now

He can spot a player ?? I can fcuking spot a player ffs, but I aint earning £11m per season  :banghead:

Tell me the last player that he "unearthed" - only 3 really stand out for me (Freddie, ralph and kolo) and the rest didn't take 20/20 vision to see. Lazy people will point to PV4 and henry as examples of him spotting genius, but he bought them from ac milan and juve respectively, and those Italian clubs were massive at the time so these players weren't exactly under the radar

To be fair, Van Persie was superb when moved to centre forward. Personally, I don't think that was obvious when he was younger. He looked more a number 10 to me who lacked pace; but, with a great first touch and shooting ability, he blossomed into one of the best strikers in the world.

I also think Wenger deserves huge credit for developing Henry. Unearthed may be a stretch but he was hardly a world renowned centre forward; quite the opposite... he was a wide forward who was being moved on by Juve after an unsuccessful spell in Italy. Their fans must have been gutted when they saw what a world class, all round centre forward, they'd let go!

Fuck me, at the very other end of the scale is our transfer business from last summer.... Mustafi and Perez (£60m between them) look like being shipped off a year after signing and Xakha already has 4 assists in 3 games so far this season.... for the opposition! money well spent. :|

I strongly dislike Wenger and he can't leave soon enough for me.
Come on now that's some harsh words.

Tone it down a little AKB style, something like this:

Perhaps Mr Wenger would kindly consider departing for the benefit of the club please.

No actually I prefer F*CK OFF YOU C*NT YOU AND THAT YANK C*NT HAVE RUINED THE CLUB!!!!!!!!.

Is Wenger's plan to let half the squad contracts run out next summer and go when they do leaving his successor a depleted squad, similar to what Ferguson did at Manure?

No, he is just inept at his job, Fergie might have planned it but Wenger will just stumble into it without even noticing.

The morons on Arsenalmania have finally realised he's done, but are very warm to the notion of him being a DOF or having some sort of role upstairs, as a way of him leaving on his own terms with dignity :banghead:

Can you imagine Arsene wankface upstairs for another 5 years, after 2 more years of this shit as well?? :banghead:

I certainly can, the culture of this club, the loser mentality which started creeping up post 2005 is officially incurable. This middle class yuppyfied gentrified it's the paticipating that counts mob are here to stay, ready with cash in hand ready to fill the seat of fan who has had enough of this shit.

Abosolute mammoth task for next manager and a board that know fuck all about football. The stench of Wenger will take generations to remove.

That forum is sickening.

Stop going on there after I saw people still defending this finished manager.

Spot on about the culture of the club. The comfortable culture with no accountability, no challenging of team-mates and the manager due to Wenger's complete dictatorship that he runs down there has killed this once great fighting club with spirit and determination.

This is a football club. Top football clubs with top managers all have uncomfortable environments where players challenge each-other, question each-other and aim to get the best out of one another through confrontation and accountability.

It's factually known Wenger doesn't let any of the players have extrovert personalities. No one questions each-other. Everyone is comfortable and there is no accountability.

He wouldn't have even battered the team after the Liverpool debacle. He would have just said nothing and let the players dwell on the match for 5 minutes then move on.

All of us know what the problems are at this GREAT football club. Amidst all this rabble we are a fantastic football club. Unfortunately Wenger and Kroenke are killing us and it's very very worrying for the future.

In addition, you'd have to remind those morons how Wenger himself sees the director of football role as a joke.

The move to the stadium, the sell out of the club and the madness of King Wenger are, indeed, going to take a long time to snuff out.

Re - ArsenalMania - It's full of closet AKBs and American football fans. Forum died circa 2009 when the match going fans left and clowns took over.

As far as the end game goes for Wonga, I can see it ending in ignominy as this is what happens when sporting dictators cling on at any cost. Things are going to get worse and SK will be forced to put him out of his misery like he did to Jeff Fischer or the takeover will happen and the new owner will boot him out. This DOF idea will never come to fruition. Things would be so toxic he wouldn't want it anyway. Likely it would be some sort of ambassadorial role.

Exactly.

I take your point about him staying on as an ambassador but Wenger and Kroenke need to be as far away as possible from our club.

They are toxic culture ruining individuals who are killing this club.

I'm not expecting it, BUT I wouldn't be totally shocked if wenker is gone as AFC manager before the Bournemouth game - keown turning against him, Neville turning against him, nutty turning against him......... these were all pundits that defended him for the last few seasons - who is left ? It is easier to believe that you are still the right man to manage the club when a few "expert" pundits agree with you, but when absolutely NOBODY is defending you anymore it is hard to justify staying on imo

Arsenal could be tempted to sell forward Alexis Sanchez, 28, if the deal is good enough, according to the Daily Mirror's chief football writer John Cross. (BBC Radio 5 live)

Now there’s a feckin’ surprise…. Tell us something we haven’t known for months…

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger questioned the attitude of his players in a "very heated" meeting at the training ground after their 4-0 defeat at Liverpool. (Mirror)

Yet again the ceeuunntt blames everyone and anyone except himself.

Yes, but Augie mate - This is Wenger we are talking about - He and he alone will decide when he goes and as we all know he is not right in the head and people who are not right in the head do not make reasoned and balanced decisions.

The guy is completely feckin' Tonto :?

WTF? After all these years...? You still think Wenger thinks like a normal human being? Seriously, augie? I am fucking surprised at you of all people...

He could give less than zero fucks what any pundit or ex-player or fan thinks of him. :|
