FC Cologne (H) | Europa League | Thu 14 Sep 20:05

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So I saw this on our team website.... sounds familiar?

"Tactical expert Michael Cox: "Cologne have a talented but inexperienced group of defenders who have conceded rather too many chances this season, particularly from low crosses played from wide positions. There’s also a doubt about Cologne’s defending at set-plays – their zonal marking system has appeared rather static so far this season.

"Jonas Hector is better known for his performances for the national team at left back, but here is deployed as an all-round central midfielder offering energy, creativity and a devilish left foot. He’s the man to stop."

The kick-off of #AFCvCOL has been delayed by an hour in the interests of crowd safety

My cynical brain says the delay is for our PR department to quickly hand out as many arsenal shirts and free tickets as possible to the Krauts to make the ground look full

9 o clock kick off now - ground will be deserted long before the end as everyone rushes off to get their trains......lovely old job. Its a fucking shameful occasion that we're playing in this shite with the revenues we generate and I sincerely hope at the end all we can here is 3000 singing Germans in an empty soulless bowl while that old c.unt hangs his head in fucking shame

Maybe we are a big club in Europe after all if that many want to come to see their team play at The Arsenal.
Do we have history with them?
Well... at some point in the past a few of your grandfathers probably exchanged bullets with a few of theirs... :rubchin:

:D
Hence the Gooners in the Clock end have a new song for tonight

This shambolic football club never surprises me anymore - how appropriate that the match day organisation is as Mickey Mouse as the cup itself

Hope we get fined and lose our fucking shirts in this cup - every dent in the wig wearing c.unt's investment makes me smile. Now give the senile old c.unt 50m to spunk in January
