Yes lets ,cant have people thinking for themselves can we Rob .
well after Brexit less people will be able to afford to travel abroad, and so the UK will become more and more insular.
a poorer nation has less time to think for themselves - that is one consequence of Brexit

here we are:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-41397402
foreign holidays starting to become unaffordable.
I predict the return of Hi De Hi as we all go back to the good old days of the 1950s British Holiday camps
that is what the Brexiters wanted after all isn't it ?

It could be worse the people at the lower end of the pay scale would love a Hi De Hi holiday mate. Its people like you that turn their nose up at such things that caused the Brexit vote in the first placeGunner Rob wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:16 pmhere we are:

I know lots of people cant afford a holiday full stop.
the point here though is Brexit will mean EVEN FEWER people will be able to afford a holiday, whether it is here in the UK or abroad.
a lot of people voted for Brexit because they felt that they had nothing to lose. my argument was that unless you were homeless that was complete rubbish - lots of people had a lot more to lose than they realised.

I think people are really more concerned with making ends meet than their next holiday to the Carribbean!Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 8:39 amfair enoughflash gunner wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2017 7:44 amIt could be worse the people at the lower end of the pay scale would love a Hi De Hi holiday mate. And this is before Brexit.....

On another note!
Why invest thousands of pounds for a week or two in some god forbidden cess pit, fed 3rd rate food, booze that is a notch up from meths, and then find out that your flight is cancelled by French Air Traffic Controllers!....
