Ryan Babel-Whats going on?

Two weeks ago Ryan Babel said he wouldn"t be joining Arsenal this summer but would sign for us the following year.Now reports say Liverpool have made a bid of Â£6.5 million and a deal is close.Why did he say he would be joining us next year and why if he is available now why dont we snap him up before the scouscers get him. Babel is a major talent and Â£6.5 million is a steal.

It doesnt seem like Arsene is interested in Babel. It has only been press reports where he was linked to us, Babel himself said there has been no offer from Arsenal. Maybe thats why he said that it wont happen this year. And if Liverpool are interested I dont see why he will not want to go. Its not his fault, its our's, given that we wanted the player. Dont know whats going on at the club.

babel said himself there was no contact wit arsenal. dont think wenger ever wanted him,, if we signed every player that was linked 2 us in the papers we,d hav a squad of 200, papers r full of shite

Only bonus is if scousers sign Babel they apparently won't be after Quaresma then saying that neither will we!

think he was hoping that arsenal would cum in 4 him,, any english team would prob trible his wage so he dont care who he signs for
