Reyesâ€™ agent confirms Arsenal stance

Jose Antonio Reyes will not be returning to Arsenal Football Club next season
The Spanish international spent last season on loan at Real Madrid with the view to a permanent move, yet a swap deal with Julio Baptista has been scrapped after the Brazilian flopped at the Gunners.

It has been reported that Thierry Henryâ€™s exit from the Emirates Stadium may present Reyes with a second chance in England, yet his agent has confirmed a move to the Bernabeu is more likely.

"Reyes doesn't want to return to London," said Jesus Rodriguez de Moya.

"If the logical steps are taken, Reyes will be a Madrid player next year. Arsenal are not asking for Â£13.6million but they are asking for a reasonable fee in accordance with what they paid to Sevilla. The negotiations are on the table."

Not only do I not want him back I would be happy if we sold him to Exeter!

I am certain we will accept a f*cking laughable fee for reyes - if we thought henry was only worth Â£16m then we are sure to be screwed on jose as well. I would not be against reyes returning cos I thought henry's treatment of him 1st time round was a total disgrace. I tell you I'd much rather keep him then flog him to those c*nts in primera liga for f*ck all

I wouldn't mind Reyes back as long as he is commited to Arsenal, all the talk coming from spain is from his agent (sounds like anelka's agent) who obviously just cares about his cut. i know Reyes was unsettled but his a bit older now and with Henry gone might feel abit more comftable playing upfront for us.

Whats the odds we let him go for say Â£7 million..........half what we shelled out!

I don't want to see Reyes play for Arsenal again

He is not even half the player we hoped he'd be. He gives the ball away constantly, runs into people, falls over expecting a foul and just grins like a pillock when he doesn't get one
