THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I don't know their history Nick so you'll know a lot more about why they are struggling. The relevance for me is that tourists were being offered Jets tickets but the " product " was utter shite and nobody would go a second time.

That has always been the flaw in this master plan started by Dein, Edelman and co. Tourists will only pay top dollar to watch a top team.

Once the old school have gone and the tourists can't be bothered - what's left??
The Jets are my team ,I saw them in the old shea stadium b4 the move to the soulless giant stadium in east Rutherford NJ . I've given up on them ever winning anything but still usually go once or twice a season and get a Ranger game or two in as well but have to say I haven't bothered this season even though the new stadium is very swish !

Unfortunately though I still do believe that Arsenal will continue to sell to the tourists as its a massive game world over and we still can get them in but the brains that set them on this course must be getting squeaky bums as the Old school diehards drop like flies .
One season of no chumps league is a blip ,two is a trend ,our brand is sliding faster now and this team wont get better than 5th this season.
Couple that with Ozil and Sanchez departure with cut price or no replacements and you can see where we will be the following year 8th or 10th !
At that stage the damage could be too much for the franchise feckwits that run the corporation that was Arsenal FC !

Ive simply given up on Arsenal ,I don't enjoy watching them and don't think il ever recover from the mind numbing tedium of the last 10 years .

Looking forward to Forest away though ,will be my last game this season I expect ,have some Forest mates and will have a few ales with them !

The dispicable old b**tard is already setting up jack by suggesting that money will be the reason that he will leave

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/ ... cial-terms

Again the akb w*nkers will buy into his bullshite comments and label wilshere a greedy judas for leaving, despite the fact that the senile old c.unt has not shown any interest in keeping him at the club
By the time wenker eventually fcuks off or dies (I'm ok with either scenario 8) ), we will be left with a squad more berift of talent than in any time in my lifetime - WHEN wilshere, sanchez and ozil leave this summer (at the latest), we will be left with kos as probably our best player (tells its own story doesnt it  ) and you would have to think that age will see him stay one more season at most, and fcuk knows who will be left by then. When I look back at previous managers reigns, they all had at least 2 or 3 quality players in their inherited squad, but whatever poor b**tard takes over from this french c.unt will be left with a worse squad than I even imagined :censored: :censored:

Never going to happen is it?, same with the AKB's, some of the names I was called when criticising Wenger 8-9 years ago and yet if anyone calls Wenger a **** they are disrespectful etc. best to just laugh at how naive and stupid they were for being duped by Wenger.

Pep: "The transfer window gives us the opportunity to strengthen in areas & already I told the people with the money who I want"

Wenger: "I would scrap the transfer window in January, completely cut it off"

17 more years :barscarf:

I wonder what it would be like for only the Emirates years?, possibly under 50%?.

I'm no statistician or mathematician but I'd think it must be around the 38-45% mark,I can remember as many defeats there as wins,
