The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread

Post by Sean »

What another load of shit this window will be. We won't sign anyone of note :blah: :blah: :blah:

What a surprise. We're in for another no-mark from the middle of nowhere. Much like Bielik, Eisfeld (now playing in 2.Bundesliga) and Miyaichi (ditto)

Don't forget the 'internal transfer market' of all the future lower league and non-league players in our dogshit academy that are being hyped up :barscarf:

Nice to roll back the years, seeing She-Ra and her sister :barscarf: 8)

Looks like a signing by the new scout.

Could be the next Nesta but Wenger will find a way to ruin him.

Liverpool apparently after lemar to replace coutinho.

I was hoping we had an agreement in place with Monaco whereby we conclude the summer agreement and sign him on January 1st.

Obviously that's not the case and I'd say we'll be kicking ourselves for dithering all the way to deadline day as one of our rivals get lemar instead

Thank fuck we've got welbeck and iwobI or we would really be in the shit!

Apparently Aubameyang is our number one transfer target (according to the Express). He is out of contract at the end of the season so would fit in nicely with our transfer budget!
Aubameyang is more interested in Atletico though.

On the plus side, both Southampton and West Ham are apparently interested in Walcott.

That is not acceptable. We need to sign Duane Dibbley from Palace. :barscarf:

I cant find that anywhere :? I'm not saying that you are wrong, but surely there would be more transfer talk about him if he was due to be free in 6 months ?

I think it's more to do with Dortmund being willing to release him because of disciplinary problems.... :rubchin:

I'd much prefer the Cat over Dibbley as he has more agility, even though he's getting up there in years 8)

I'd say that even Rimmer has less cowardice than the BGV; plus he was built like a brick shithouse in the middle seasons. Lister could be the new Ian Wright, but for his dodgy knees. If we can't sign the Cat, stick Kryten in goal; he can't be worse than Cech :proudtosay:
