A pattern emerging....

Torres
Quaresma
Babel
Malouda
Tevez

All big names, all linked with Arsenal in our summer of 'super super signings', all signed or on the verge of signing for our biggest rivals!

They have to sign players we are linked with because they don't have good scouts like us  also they are scared off us because we dont spend big but still can match them on the pitch. all we need to do now is learn how to run the marathon not just the sprint races

For the last few seasons I`ve heard people complaining about this.
Sure I could do with some new signing, but the jealousy towards other clubs make me sick. Lets be possitive and get behind the players we`ve got, we`re not going to change club anyway.

Be happy, hopeful and supportive, the players will need us to

The reason why some Arsenal fans are feeling suicidal is for the last two seasons we have finished 4th and not even challenged for the title. and we can see our rivals strengthening while we have lost quality players like Bergkamp,Pires,Campbell and now Henry. Man Utd finished 21pts ahead of us yet they have bought 4 players and have spent over £50m.Anyone who doesn"t see we are falling further behind the top two is living in cloud cuckoo land. Instead of us signing the best players the big two in Spain are taking our best players away and we are powerless to stop them.Have we become a feeder club for Barca and Madrid? If we lose Cesc lets all meet up at Beachy Head where we can all jump off together.

Jesus Hagbard, you're not buying all that spud "sarf lundahn" propaganda are you, as for the beachy head suggestion it's too close to the seven sisters for comfort. personally i would go for the shooting myself option, then at least i would die a gunner Boom Boom

Or we could climb to the rafters of the Emirates and jump to the pitch?

Hey you miserable lot, you dont have to go to such extremes or distances, there's a nice bridge up from the Archway underground station called suicide bridge. Its really high and over the dual carriageways that run down from Highgate Village. If the splat on the ground dont kill ya Im sure one of the juggernaults steaming down there will spread you all over the road :D We've just signed Sagna 8). This is all in La Master's cunning master plan. We let on to the press who we dont want (pretending we do) and Scum and the rest of the pack scurry around like the scavenger dogs they are and buy them at over-rated prices, the agents then bung La Boss for getting great deals for over-rated players i.e. Darren Bent to Spuds and make Scum nearly bankrupt themselves by buying the Argie, Hargreaves et al, the Mickey Mousers must be well in the shite paying all that for Torres, remember the yanks are only here for the dosh. And La Boss quitely buys players who he will make stars at reasonable prices.

Arsene knows ....

For one thing, these are players we've its "rumoured" we've been interested in. Most of them are likely to have been paper talk.

And, its quite possible that a number of these high profile players will flop in the Premiership. Imagine that. Paying £20m+ for Torres & then find that he can't stand the week in week out slog! Or maybe they'll get injured (!!!).

And if we do buy Sagna & Martins this week then even the miserly gooners will have spent £30m+ in the close season. No really big stars, but a massive improvement to an already half decent squad.

I think you can all move away from the edge of the cliff now and look forward to the next chapter in Wenger's masterplan!!!

To be perfectly honest I wouldn't actually like to see any of the players above players. Malouda maybe, but thats about it. The rest I'd be happy to see here, but wouldn't really ask for if I was told I could pick any player in the world to come to Arsenal.

That sounds like a classic final line. Makes me want to read the rest of the book now!
