Eduardo Running Already !

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Most excellent news.....................He really did make a difference last season once he had settled down.

Hopefully there'll be an official confirmation for this :barscarf:

I don't care how long it takes for Eddy to return as long as he is NOT RUSHED BACK.

And considering we have a management/medical team that effectively fucked up Henry for good in his last season here against PSV and sent on RVP at Anfield with strappings on both his legs (instead of a fully fit Bendtner sitting alongside him) I pray to God Dudu isn't at 50% fitness when we actually need him during the season.

I don't think even we are stupid enough to risk sending eduardo back after what he has been through

Great news if he is getting better. The next step however is the hardest.

Getting his confidence back...

I broke my ankle in two places a couple of seasons ago (Saturday after I flew back from Paris 06 - what a fuckbag of a week that was for me :cussing: ). I was on the receiving end of a horendous studs up special from a total crunt. The only thing that stopped me getting the full Diaby style ankle dislocation was the fact that my calf muscle tore instead of my broken ankle dislocating (according to my consultant I was lucky, the mad bastard! ).

Anyway, 4 months in an immobilisation cast, then intense physio to actually get the ankle moving again (including the horrors of ice immersion therapy to reduce swelling (NOT oo-er missus  ). I did three sessions a day, three days a week for a month and it nearly killed me. Hardest thing I ever did. Then I had to try and get fit again and lose the two stone I put on. :banghead:

Over 6 months out in total.

But the hardest part was the first couple of games back. My confidence was zero. Fucking stayed well away from anything even remotely resembling a 50/50...

Getting your confidence back after a bad injury is really tough. It's a real test of character. I hope he can do it and the fans give him the time he might need. 8)
