I'm starting to sit up and take notice of what Sven Mislintat and Raul Sanllehi are doing behind the scenes.

Coquelin has been moved on less than 12 months after SFB rewarded his dross performances with a bumper new contract, Debuchy is being ushered out the side door back to France and the poster child of the Banter Era is off to Everton for actual money

And that's just in this window!

There also seems to be a plan in place for when Sanchez waves goodbye - Aubameyang, Malcolm and Mkhitaryan and I think the aim would be to end up with two of the three of those.

No doing it on the fly, no making it up as we go along but an actual plan of moving the dross out and replacing them with potential and quality.

That ain't no Arsene Wenger way of doing business and I reckon there are moves being made behind the scenes which hopefully he takes umbrage to and F's OFF :barscarf:

Mkhytariyan is more of an Ozil replacement than a Sanchez type. Although, for Germany Ozil usually plays on the left of a front 3.
Really hope Aubamayang deal gets done.
Still need a defender.

The real problem is we simply don't know what we need until TOF is kicked out because although we undoubtedly have some average players, we can't be sure how good/bad they are until they have a good manager (and coaches) around them.

I agree that behind the scenes the club do seem to be planning for life after OGL but then you have to ask the question WTF is Wenger still doing there?, if he's just some sort of figurehead then we might as well have brought in an ex-player or something like the Chavs did, we could save some of that wasted £10M a year in the process!.

They honestly think that fans would be 'worried' if Wenger wasn't at the helm?, that in itself is worrying..

Wengers already made a sly dig at our new transfer policy, maybe, just maybe we get players in that undermine Wenger's pride and he walks. I think it depends on the league cup. If we get through to the final he goes in June, if not, he'll go by end of January.

Would be a straight swap for Mkhitaryan according to Sky, no cash. Fucking unbelievable. Our best player being replaced by their reject.

20m for Theo, 12m Coq, 35m Ox, 7m Gibbs, 14m Scezesny, 10m Gabriel and possibly 20m for Sanchez.....recouping Champions League lost revenue by selling the dross (bar Alexis 8) )

Our best player with 4 months left on his contract, to be fair we have zero bargaining power on this one all thanks to SFB and cone head.

Was that when he referred to Mavropanosas the "Greek boy" inferring that he had sweet FA to do with the transfer?

If the stories are true about Ronaldo and United would they even need Sanchez?
The Ronaldo to United story gets trotted out every transfer window without fail.

Analysis

BBC Sport's David Ornstein

Walcott is not a done deal yet - there are still some hurdles to overcome before the deal can be completed.

Everton run a lengthy medical and therefore it makes sense to get it started while negotiations are ongoing so that if/when agreement is reached the deal can be completed, rather than having to then start the medical.

An outcome is expected in the next 24 hours.
