Relax, cos apparently “prices can go down in the last week of the window, as well as up”
Re: The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread
It's all about Kroenke's big money loan for the LA Rams move, Arsenal (his most valuable asset) has to keep healthy cash reserves as he is using the club as a loan guarantor. As I said Ivan and co are working within very tight confines to 'try' and make us reasonably competitive with the big clubs, we are no longer one of them thanks to the wiggy parasite and his evil henchman (Wenker).
Re: The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread
And now sky are reporting that giroud wont be leaving the club during this transfer window - just when I thought that this transfer window couldnt get any worse

Re: The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread
Which is code for - we won't be signing any strikers! Welwide and the Lamppost it is for the rest of the season

Surely they know that if they give the extra ten mil they will probably get most of that back on jersey sales
Re: The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread
That is just so wrong! He biggest asset is the LA Rams, they're worth far more than we are.sk-gtfo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 9:01 pmIt's all about Kroenke's big money loan for the LA Rams move, Arsenal (his most valuable asset) has to keep healthy cash reserves as he is using the club as a loan guarantor. According to Forbes, the Rams are valued at $2.9bn while Arsenal is $1.9bn.

Even those two jokers Goughie and Durham on TalkShite last night were saying "someone's going to come in and trump them aren't they?"
A couple of juvenile, wind up pricks like that still recognise that our "commercial" team are the biggest bunch of goons on the planet. Sincerely hoping that another Prem team just comes in and pays the money for Aubameyang and gives the old bastard another few months of torture and banners

Either they dont realise that, or they do recognise it but choose not to take the risk on an unknown financial return (no definite number of jersey sales) - regardless it is the type of decision which continues to fcuk up our commercial income

According to sky website, the chavs are now considering trying to buy giroud - I suppose giroud is pele when you compare him to andy carroll and peter crouch
I have openly said that we need to get rid of players like giroud and start again, but that being said, I'm not sure that I would be happy to sell him to the chavs

According to reports personal terms have been agreed with bananaman for about a week, so they are gambling that Dortmund will capitulate to our “best offer” and not risk keeping an unhappy player who wants out.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 8:18 amEven those two jokers Goughie and Durham on TalkShite last night were saying "someone's going to come in and trump them aren't they?"

I guess they feel that the player wants to come, but that’s not to say he wouldn’t happily go elsewhere if the offer was sufficient ( see Sanchez / City/Utd for example)

Arsenal has no intention of signing Aubameyang, same story as the summer show intent in the transfer market then get away without spending a penny, in fact, put more money into the yank *word censored* pockets.StuartL wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 8:44 amAccording to reports personal terms have been agreed with bananaman for about a week, so they are gambling that Dortmund will capitulate to our “best offer” and not risk keeping an unhappy player who wants out.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 8:18 amEven those two jokers Goughie and Durham on TalkShite last night were saying "someone's going to come in and trump them aren't they?"

I am not sure what is going on at Chelski, but a few years back they would have waded in and taken aubameyang away from us. They desperately need a striker, Morata is solid but not world class.
Re: The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread
To lose one striker to a rival is bad enough but to lose two to different rivals...
That is the stuff of nightmares.
Re: The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread
Wonga has now said in his morning presser that Giroud can leave if we bring someone in? I’m surprised as we have sold two forward players already, if we get rid of Lamppost and sign Auba, we are relying on Welshit to stay fit to give us much in the way of cover!
