We would do well to remember the time the chavs strung us along over the loan move for Demba Ba (BANTER) when we were desperately in need of a striker only to pull the plug at the last minute leaving us with nothing.

That time Maureen stooped the deal because he didn't want to strengthen a rival.....novel idea that

As the season is dead for me barring the two cups, I sincerely hope this deal falls flat on its face at the 11th hour.

It can only turn up the heat and make it a miserable time for SFB which is always a bonus in my book. I can't wait to hear how "we were never in for him seriously" just like we weren't when Higuaín was a done deal.

Fuck you Arsene - wishing you the most painful, miserable end to the transfer window imaginable

strange situation where deal is agreed then at the 11th hour find out BD want a replacement first......is this how they do multi million pound deals

When you send out a negotiating team TEN DAYS before the window closes, and the deal isnt completed with just over 1 day left (germany transfer deadline is 5pm tomorrow evening), then you are automatically drastically reducing the chances of the deal going ahead

As I posted before, why are all our transfers such tedious boring bags of shite?

Chelski getting cold feet over Giroud. I knew this would happen.

Why would another top 6 team sanction one of their rivals getting their hands on one of the best strikers in Europe. Only Arsenal would oblige as we have seen over the last 10 years.

Bookies started quoting odds on transfer happening after they closed their books yesterday. Ohh dear.

Giroud is without doubt an above average player in our mediocre squad and has probably still got a couple of years decent football in him. Selling him to a direct rival would be stupid.

So just to clarify, you would rather keep giroud and lose out on abameyueng ? Dont like selling players to our rivals either, but the definition of stupid here would be keeping a journeyman striker and sacrificing a world class striker

I don't believe in all this crap that says Dortmund will only sell if some mad transfer domino effect happens and they end up with some dud from Chelsea.

There's 55 million quid on the table for a player that doesn't want to be there, who's relationship with the fans has completely broken down (he was boo'd on Saturday as he phoned in a performance and there was also a banner in the ground having a pop at him) and who nobody else is in for.

And we're supposed to believe they're turning it down because they won't land Batshuayi from the chavs?

YOU'RE HAVING A LAUGH MATE!

It will happen - 100%.

SSN reported this morning that Aubameyang was due to testify in a court case yesterday in connection with the attack on the Dortmund coach some time ago...
They said he missed the court due to a flu and (this is where it gets funny) they wondered if this illness would impact on a potential medical at Arsenal :D ...A man with a broken bone in his back passed a medical at Arsenal they are hardly going to notice a flu..

I'm absolutely gagging ( :-P ) for this to happen - finally someone to get excited about, and a far-cry from the usual shit-average Wenger signing :barscarf: I'm almost certain the old duffer had nothing to do with this.

We're still in dire need of a CB, GK and DM and I don't for a second believe we'll get what we need, but Aubameyang would be a fantastic buy, and at least something to stir up a bit of interest and life in the team which has been stale as shit for the past 2-3 years.

But it'd be so typical Arsenal and utterly cruel for this to fall through tomorrow
