Great news :D

:barscarf: Can't wait to see him play again, but agree he should not be rushed back.

We can't have another van Persie - Rosicky saga next season. :banghead:

I can't believe that he might be back playing in summer. What a great recovery! As long as he is confident, physios give him green light and Wenger is happy: he'll be back and playing 8)

I read one of the comments below the video and one person speaks portuguese and he says Eduardo said taylor and birmingham never apologised to him personally. What *word censored* if they came out publicly and said they did when they never did. Sounds malicious

In the absence of any concrete evidence, I'd rather give Taylor the benefit of the doubt, as I find it very hard to believe Taylor wouldn't have apologised, and I'm confident that he would have felt very sorry for what he did to Eduardo - Accident's happen.

Anyway, its great news to read that Eduardo is well on the road to recovery! :barscarf: - although, I think Wenger said that once back in training, it would still take up to 2 months before he's ready for the first team.

And considering we have a management/medical team that effectively fucked up Henry for good in his last season here against PSV and sent on RVP at Anfield with strappings on both his legs (instead of a fully fit Bendtner sitting alongside him) I pray to God Dudu isn't at 50% fitness when we actually need him during the season.
Two points to make as to your post.

I agree that Eduardo must be brought back only when fully fit. Encouraging signs so far, but some way to go until he can play a Premiership match.
Robert Pires' book "Footballeur" details the recuperation process, and how it is a long and gruelling one.
I also agree that sometimes we do bring players back too soon, as I have commented on my post on RvP.

Where I disagree is your feelings that the medical staff messed up Henry.

I agree Henry was rushed back but:
Henry has a groin injury, and those that have had one, myself included, know how tricky it is to recover from them.
He also has degenerative spinal discs.
These cannot be mended under current medical knowledge.
They can only be be "maintained" in that the player can be kept ticking over, but the disc degeneration cannot be reversed.
Wenger knew it was time to sell him.

Arsenal have a top class medical team, and outsource player recuperation to expert osteopaths.
Yet even they cannot fix every injury on every player easily.

I agree accidents happen but it would be a shame if taylor never talked to Eduardo in person. But the best thing to do is move foward so cheers to seeing him training! :barscarf: :barscarf:

From what I remember Taylor did visit Eddie in hospital, but he was still so out of it - lucky sod  - that he doesn't remember and, I think he still takes the view that he has not been apologised to!
