It'll be some deal for the Mancs if it does go thru as apparently it's 3 players plus 38M, on purely footballing terms, I will be sorry to see him go but otherwise it's got to be good news for us especially as it's got Ferguson pullin his hair out :banghead:  :barscarf:

Yes, if it is true it would be good for us - not sure about the Premier League though.

Surely we want the best players in our league even if they are at our rivals, otherwise it all becomes a bit meaningless.

It will also make Real Madrid more attractive for our players, if they get itchy feet.

erm....no!

Before Ronaldo joined, was our rivalry with ManU meaningless? no
- So why would it be so if he left?

Clubs are bigger than any one player, so the rivalry won't be affected. And if Ronaldo leaving gives us a better chance of success then I hope he leaves

I wouldn't get too excited. After all, the source is only his godfather.

Anyway, I believe United would get even stronger if they had 3 top players plus £38 million at their disposal. Don't fall into the trap some people did of thinking United would be finished as a serious force if they sold Ronaldo. Similar things were said when Stam, Beckham and Van Horseface left, yet they have got stronger.

Don't underestimate United's capacity to get in new and maybe even better players should they need to. Whether we like it or not, they will as United have that kind of appeal. :(

As I said before, I can't see Real Madrid giving away one of the best defenders in the world plus two 20-million worth football players and 38 million for Ronaldo :? Can't see them giving 100 million either, unless they have a bottomless pit of money

I agree that Real Madrid would be very unlikely to include Ramos in the deal as he is very highly rated and because of his versitility. The guy looks equally comfortable anywhere in the back four and in midfield as well. A top, top player. 8)

i don't think Ronaldos godfather and the daily express are the most reliable of sources. I'd like to see him leave our league, not because he's the best player in the world, but because he's a cheating c.unt, and has a large part to play in diving spreading.

This said i can't see Fergie selling him, it's not as if they're short of a few bob. Knowing Fergie he will refuse to sell him and then if he doesn't perform or moans about wanting to leave he'll let him rot in the reserves out of spite. Saying this, that would actually be hilarious.
