As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Surely we want the best players in our league even if they are at our rivals, otherwise it all becomes a bit meaningless.
It will also make Real Madrid more attractive for our players, if they get itchy feet.
I don't want the best players to be in the Premier League. I want them at Arsenal Football Club and only at Arsenal Football Club. I derive no pleasure whatsoever from watching Ronaldo destroy teams while playing for Manchester United. I don't watch football to be entertained, I watch it to see Arsenal winning Titles.

DVB do you wear contacts? Cos thats well short sighted. If all the best players went to Arsenal we would be Man Ure and Chelski. There wouldn't be no opportunity for owt else just what we have to offer, which by the way is better than all else have to offer.
I was on a pub crawl last nite cos my mate was wettin the baby's head, and nearly every ManUre fan I spoke to and my mate himself who's a long time season ticket holder, believes that there is something in this story, maybe not for 100M and I certainly don't want to see them getting those players and a huge chunk of change to boot, but there's no disputing that he refuses to commit and altho the source is only his godfather I would argue that it's still a very close relation and particularly so in a profoundly Catholic country like Portugal, it just seems that it's one of those stories that won't go away!

So you like not seeing Arsenal with the best players? You like watching Man Utd and Chelsea being better than us? I am interested only in Arsenal Football Club and their success. If you think it would be boring being an Arsenal fan who celebrated a Title every season then I really don't get it. I've seen enough of the bad times to know I would love Arsenal to dominate the way they did in the 30s, Liverpool did in 70s and 80s and United since the Premier League started.

Didn't Arsenal and Liverpool go into long declines after their dominant time? If we won the league every year, then the EPl would become as strong as France and Germany's leagues, we would then lose out on players and money to more competitive leagues so sparking off a decline for us and the league

So you are happy seeing Man Utd winning 10 titles while we win 3 titles
