Congratulations Petr Cech

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Ospina play as it sends out a terrible message Cech being able to play as badly as he has for as long as he has and not get dropp d.

Ospina is probably a worse keeper mind. Instils sheer panic into his defenders, can’t reach halfway with his kicks and I’ve never seen him catch a cross. There was a standard Ospina moment in Milan where he came for a corner and it went right through his hands under very little pressure.

Lloris was the one we criminally missed out on. That much quality and experience at that age and for that price - absolute no-brainer given our documented problems in the position for a long time. Instead he didn’t sign him to protect Szczesny - who was then out of favour within a few months anyway. Up there just below not signing Higuain for me.
