makes me laugh this attitude about hoping russians see to our fans, some of it even comes from snobby people in this country (and the media, henry winter even tweeted something along these lines) that think our fans are embarrassing abroad.

Every time there is reports of hooligans causing trouble at games, all the talk is about shame or embarrassment etc - nobody ever mentions that there actions is gonna have real consequences for the genuine english fans just going to support their team. Those fans will be targetted by russian gangs, and be labelled as thugs as well even though they have probably never been in a ruck in their lives. This has nothing to do with patriotism or Ireland against England, or any shite like that, but some have decided to turn these comments as being anti-english, when in reality you should all be saying and feeling the same disgust and anger as the rest of us
