I caught the highlights. It seems like we got away with it 8)

Their goal was a screamer. I am surprised with how rarely I see teams shoot from distance with these modern flyaway balls. Our over-passing play is maddening by comparison. Welbeck bought that penalty, but it saved us from going under.

Milan had a couple of good chances. Xhaka did one of the few things he is good at and shot from distance, with Donnarumma deflecting it into the net. I do wish that we put opposition goalkeepers under pressure more often and forcing them into errors like this.

Good save from Ospina at the other end, tipping the ball over the bar. Welbeck nodded in the final goal after Donnarumma saved Ramsey's chance.

It's annoying to see The Old Fraud openly say that he wants to avoid Atletico. Fans can say that, but not club officials. It shows us up as the small-timers that we have become in the past decade. The draw is in just over six hours from now. After 35 years in management, I wonder how he will eventually fuck it up for us in Europe this season

Ozil is just the worst - in the first half on so many occasions he received the ball just outside their box, but every single time he opted to pass the ball out wide instead of having a shot  For a guy that is as technically gifted as he is, I cannot understand why he doesnt shoot more

Wellshit's dive was an embarassment and the match officials should be sacked for buying it

I'm amazed you can actually say such a thing - He has been with us long enough for such a skill and ability to be Totally Coached Out of Him by the All Knowing Wenger.

I think Wenger fines them for shooting past a certain distance out (12 yards seems likely) or if there hasn't been at least 75 tedious nothing passes in the build up. :|

We're going to win this thing aren't we? And he's going to stay :D

I can just see it now.....a little flat track bully run to shore up 6th place (whoopee doo) and end up pulling off the minor miracle of winning this cup. He's never won a European trophy old Mr 30 Years as we all know......so he'll do it at the time he's been the closest to ever leaving and have the proud record of only 1 season outside the CL in 20 odd years. Then we can go back to getting walloped by Bayern and Barca.....happy old days

Really got away with a lot last night..Poor refereeing and a massive slice of luck saw us go 2-1 up....It was falling into place so much that the phrase "name on the cup" sprung to mind..
Can't say any Arsenal player was anywhere near outstanding,. Job done but when you think of the great AC Milan teams of the Channel 4 days and European nights this team is a poor imitation. They haven't been in Europe for four seasons and are sixth (?) In Seria A. Bigger tests ahead.
Maldini albertini costacurta boban desailly weah savicevic
All in the Milan squad that finished 11 th in serie a in 96/97 and knocked out the champions league home to rosenborg at home in front of 29' 000
They were also in the squad that finished 10 th the season after

How did Ozil get motm for this game? He was awful, ducking out of headers and challenges, played fancy Dan flicks to no one.
First game I've been to for ages and if you think watching this team on TV is bad, watching them at the ground is worse.

It's pretty much self-explanatory this one. He was man of that particular match. :D  Really goes to show how poor a game it was that an under par Ozil was still the best player on the pitch. :|
