Spot on.They were below par in champs lge for a change and finished 3rd in a very strong group,but being honest the minute they dropped into the europa they became huge favourites to win it.

There was a slim chance of beating them in a one off final but not happening over 2 legs. They are a disciplined and regimented outfit with class players all over the pitch.

We would have had to beat them anyway. Although winning a one of game in a neutral venue would have been easier as its much harder to fluke it over two legs.

This is the time when you either do it, or you dont. So often though Wenger doesn't and instead looks for sympathy and rational for why its the other team that goes on while we bow out.
