Your choice as manager/Arteta Merged thread
Re: Your Choice As Manager
I see PV4 has pretty much ruled himself out for the near future

If its Brendan Rogers then at least the Kroenke hate will continue.
Arteta is on his way, I can feel it

Ohh dear, narrows it down to Ancelotti, Rodgers or Enrique really. Why would Allegri leave a team that wins titles and challenges in the CL for Arsenal.SteveO 35 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 10:01 amI see PV4 has pretty much ruled himself out for the near future

Please not Rodgers or it's going to be more of the same shit. Couldn't handle another bottle job manager.

Brendan Rodgers is favourite with the bookies

He's said he wants to manage another club before he turns to International football, but realistically can you see him wanting to come to Arsenal? We are being linked with Rodgers for a reason, sadly our stock as a big club in Europe has diminished over the last 10 years.NickF wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 11:05 amI thought he was leaving them at the end of the season anyway?nut flush gooner wrote: ↑Sat Apr 21, 2018 10:30 amWhy would Allegri leave a team that wins titles and challenges in the CL for Arsenal.

Isn't it Allegri who is learning English?

If its Brendan Rodgers I honestly can see it being years before I set foot inside the bowl again - another serial loser not unlike the one exiting

Luis Enrique 9/2 with ladbrookes,
Brendan Rogers &Ancelotti 5/1
Brendan Rogers &Ancelotti 5/1
Re: Your Choice As Manager
Luis Fucking Enrique - a man who has done well at one club where the legacy left before him almost made it impossible not to succeed.
One totally shit season at Roma and unimpressive at Celta - two clubs more akin to the situation he would inherit here rather than what he inherited at Barcelona
Would be an abysmal appointment. Benitez or Ancelotti would be far superior appointments in the short term, waiting for PV4 to come into his own in 2-3 years

Re: Your Choice As Manager
Irony, we're not even rid of the tool we have and people are already good naturedly bickering on the merits of his replacement options
To be honest i voted Allegri but i think that is a pipe dream, i no more trust our board to appoint the right replacement first time round than i believe that AW will be done with the club when he 'resigns' at the end of the season, we've been led a merry dance by the owner and the board for many years and until Wiggy and Gazidis never mind the other muppets are gone i expect the ludicrous managerial decisions at all levels to continue.
I hope to god i'm wrong but experiences tells me differently
In reality if they're going to fuck it up then i'd rather an Eddie Howe or Brendan Rodgers type appointment as opposed to an ex player

Re: Your Choice As Manager
Bearing in mind that our fuckwit owner and his silver spoon son don't know the first thing about soccer
I guess they will be expecting Senor Sanllehi to come up with the goods. I don't really fancy Enrique for the kind of job that needs doing at our place but given the Barca connection and Guillem Balague happily stating on SSN that Enrique would not reject the job here..........

Re: Your Choice As Manager
Bearing in mind we all said 'anyone but Wenger' and the fuckwit owners and management we have in place we're very likely gonna get 'anyone' . But who knows..they might even surprise us.
