Obviously most people will focus on the £50m transfer kitty (which is a disgrace if true), but I would rather focus on the story that they want a strict disciplinarian as the next manager - that would very much please me (if true) and you would expect that it would rule out arteta![]()
There are some other bits that should be highlighted too, and the part that amused me most was this pearler
There is money to make one big signing this summer, with a new centre back the priority. Mainz’s Abdou Diallo and Wolfsburg’s Ohis Felix Uduokhai are targets
Big Signings ? I never even heard of these c.unts before![]()

The Arsenal Way used to mean tough resiliant teams, where the captain decides whether the team wears short sleeves or long sleeves on any given day, and where there was a simple bold cannon as a club crest - now the arsenal way is a load of gutless w**kers playing slow sidewards football with a cartoon crest on our shirts, and an acceptance that we have the mindset of a mid-table club

The notion of a big club bringing players through their ranks is very outdated imo - who was the last good player that the victims, the chavs, manure or citeeh brought through their ranks ? Rightly or wrongly these clubs feel there is too much at stake to show some patience to bring the kids through, and whether we like it or not, that is the reality.
Re: Your Choice As Manager
Hard to believe that the sky bet odds on simeone being our next manager (18/1), are almost as high as the senile arrogant french c.unt being the next real madrid manager (20/1)

Re: Your Choice As Manager
I miss the old arsenal way Augie, under GG you felt like the team would walk through a brick wall to win ,they had to GG demanded it,this wishy washy Arsenal we see these days is a piss takeaugie wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 11:18 ammarkyp wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 10:53 amall this talk of the new manager having to fit in with the Arsenal way is a joke, what is the Arsenal way?? bringing kids through??? that in itself is comical, who in 22 years did wenger bring through who was any good?? one player, Ashley cole, thats it!!!!! one player in 22 years!!!![]()

I really don't understand what this obsession is with Arteta and him being our next manager.
He sets cones out for Pep. That's all. He hasn't managed a professional football match in his life, so why on earth is he sudden;y a top pick to take charge of Arsenal FC?
It would be a disastrous step to make, worse than Moyes at United.

Partially true - a few weeks ago he managed the second half of the champions league quarter final second leg at home v the victims. Of course it should be noted that when he took over that night his team were 1 up and dominating, and under his control they capitulated and ended up losing the game 2-1 - hardly the type of thing to justify being awarded the managers position at The Arsenal

Re: Your Choice As Manager
I guess the new manager wont be bringing through any of these "prospects" anytime soon

Re: Your Choice As Manager
Don’t read too much into it - we rested most of our players ahead of the youth up final and in the previous game with a full squad beat them 6-0.augie wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 2:34 pmI guess the new manager wont be bringing through any of these "prospects" anytime soon![]()

No team should lose 9-0 though, accident, little bit unlucky with the 6th goal, referee desicions went against us, crowd were not up for it, played on an odd numbered day of the month - have I missed anything ?

Re: Your Choice As Manager
I don't care - I think any of them - Rodgers, Alleggri, Simeone, Ancellotti will do a better job at organizing the back four, defending as a team and sorting out the bloody medical staff and physios.
in fact I would take Ranieiri for a year if we had to wait for the right candidate - which is not Arteta, Paddy, Dennis or Van Basten.
going forward we have plenty of goals in us - PEA, Lacazette, Welbeck, and Ramsay. its the defence. its always been the defence.
btw- this is my first post back since 2013.
