BURNLEY (6th place play off) HOME 6th May 16:30

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's certainly going to be an emotional day for me. I'm not sure it'll ever be the same after this, I really don't think I will be able to control my emotions after the match. As season ticket holder home games are going to be very different from now on...and not in a good way I fear.

I have been going for 30yrs and you will always be the best as far as I'm concerned. We've shared good and bad times but the good far, far out weigh the bad... I shall never forget you, goodbye to The George..the best Arsenal pub, you shall be missed :(

Oh....and cheerio Wenger. About fucking time!! :D
yeah I went before the Atletico match last week for the last time.
very sad that it is closing.

I don't think I will approach the stadium from Holloway Road in future - there are no pubs left!

Just remember, Wenger built the new ground with his bare hands eight days a week for days like these.
yeah and don't forget once it was built he worked 365 days a year, 24 hours a day to recruit the best players in the world

how lucky we have been to enjoy the talents of Iwobi, Denilson, Chamakh, Santos etc :D

It's one thing giving the old c.unt a round of applause (something I wouldn't partake in myself), but those t-shirts are a lame idea - I would probably be fcuked out of the stadium if I was there cos I would either rip it in bits, or I would wipe my arse with it and I don't think either will be deemed acceptable
I'd take a market pen and add three words to the Merci Arsene, " NOW FUCK OFF". :barscarf:

Did they get the money for their plane?? I wouldn't be surprised if the club stump up the huge shortfall...and why not, what's another 6k after we've pissed away over 100m on the serial loser.

As for the game itself, it's been awhile since we had a massive 6 pointer so late in the season... :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

would be great if we could get another plane up there with a banner ,maybe something like ARSENAL FC 1886 not 1996, would be fitting to remind Arsene the club is ours on his final game :barscarf:

If they are giving out t-shirts, mine shall be on eBay some time Monday afternoon.
I might as well make some money from our international fan base .
I am of course willing to sell to anyone on here who can't make the game
Start your bidding now......

They're going to name a stand after wenger on Sunday, I'm sure of it.

Fair enough but I'm not wearing a merci arsene t-shirt. No chance.

Finish below Burnley and the season starts in late July :D

Would love to see that happen and end up playing some bunch of c.unts from Luxembourg or the Faroes, a couple of weeks after the World Cup ends and all our fannies are still on the beach

Fuck the bloody lot of them - shameful season, let by a shameless manager.

Its going to be 25 degrees and the BBQ will finally be out to celebrate the departure of the dribbling old tool. I won't be going near the sports channels at any point between now and the end of the season for fearing of catching a glimpse of the wankathon at Shit for Brains departure

I wondered about that. Hope it isn't the north bank otherwise is back to the clockend.

What are you going to do if they rename it 'The Emirates Arsene Wenger Stadium' though

Sounds fair enough. I'm not going but would give him solid applause for all the many great things he did in his first dozen or so years.

Of course I don't think his departure is a second too soon. But.....I would still want to cheer him off :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

FORWARD ARSENAL :flag: :banner:  :the_doris_2: :the_doris_2: :the_doris_2:
I agree . The 'tits' at the end of your post have just made an old man very happy. Something Wenger could not do in recent years. A draw I think for this one followed by two away defeats to remain winless away for 2018 :barscarf: :barscarf:
