Arteta and Rogers now 2nd and 3rd favs behind drifting Allegri! I’d take Arteta ahead of Rogers! We already know Rogers is a wanker!

If Arteta can manage to dress himself he'll be doing well but as for managing the Arsenal he has no chance.

I have a horrible feeling that we're gonna have a real wanker as the new manager.

I base this theory on the plums that run the club.

Yes I know we already had a real wanker but we've just got rid of him and so any normal club would get a better replacement.

Ornstein reporting on BBC.....

The favourite for the job with bookmakers and many fans and pundits is Allegri, but Arteta is firmly in the mix, and although these two appear to be the frontrunners, I get the feeling other names are in the frame.

In the list of my preferred options, arteta would sit slightly (and I mean slightly) ahead of fat sam, pardew and pubis - that is how much am I opposed to giving the job to a guy that has NO managerial experience

Eddie Howe getting another mention.
I cannot believe that the board will go for Arteta. No experience whatsoever, and they know it will turn ugly on the terraces by November, and it won't be his fault. They cannot afford to damage the brand further.
I noticed that Nagelsmann (sp) was trading at 16/1 this week with one firm whilst others were 33's and 40's.
For what it's worth, I don't believe it will be Allegri.
Why is our club taking so long over this shit?
Roll on the interlull.

I foresee Arteta with OGL turning up to 'help' him with training and hand out his sage advice for next season as he settles in :barscarf:

love to believe it mate, but the sun ? clutching at straws. I read in another rag he wants to move to a PL club that competes or stay at Juve for another year.
like I say, like to believe it, but.....

Ornstein saying it's unlikely there will be an announcement next week. If it was Arteta surely they would announce it after the last game to get things moving. Italian league finishes the week after :barscarf:

Ornstein hedging his bets much?

Doesn’t have any more of a clue what’s going on than you or I.
