Why ?? No more than ourselves they cant offer champions league and are going to be marooned in the european leyland daf cup next season They MIGHT offer him a better salary, but the transfer budget is nowhere near what it used to be there, and there is CONSTANT inteference there plus their players have a history of undermining the manager. If he joined us he would get a substantial salary plus he would be given a (more or less) blank canvas to build a team his way - if he goes to the chavs he will be taking over a team that has won the league recently and will be expected to make an immediate impact despite the fact that they have a fractured squad on a slide
