That Ozil article also claims he would be inundiated with offers if he wanted to leave so not sure how much I can take that seriously...

Emery would be a miles better appointment.

Ozil might get some offers but you can bet that we'd be expected to take a hit on his transfer fee to offset his fucking ridiculous wages

Could be worth it to get the 350k off our wage bill. I like Ozil but we can't have a player that basically seems to choose when he want to play.

Oh absolutely agree. At least we have the fucker tied to a contract now so we get some dough for him. He can't be good for the dressing room and somebody like Jack in his situation must want to punch his lights out at times.

We are more likely to end up with dick emery! Ref ozil i wanna see him under a decent manager before we even consider selling him, we would be mad to get rid right now, it was only Wenger who let him get away with murder no other manager would

I thought he was brilliant at Sevilla, unlucky with PSG because of what happened with him in the Champions League. If he can win us three Europa League cups in a row, at least that will double our current European trophy haul. This is more positive news.

Christ, let those Emery rumors be true! He would be brilliant replacement if we can't get top tier managers like Simeoni, Allegri etc. He was very good at Sevilla with pretty much average players.

Totally agree! PSG didn't have to play that many competitive matches in their own league as differences between them and rest of the teams are huge. They really didn't have that "experience" to beat top teams in Champs League because of this.

This would be my concern too - is emery just another name and token gesture that the club are putting out there, to support the absolute bullsh*t theory that they have worked hard to get the best man for the job as they present arteta at the press conference ? :censored: :censored:

The Daily Star claim Mikel Arteta is having a major 'wobble' about taking the #Arsenal manager’s job due to the lack of transfer power he will have. https://t.co/bXLwIBcfpa

Or maybe he has become aware of the lack of support from anywhere for his appointment ? :rubchin:

Or maybe he is thinking that joining a club in the midst of a shitfest, can potentially kill off his future career ? :rubchin:

I dont believe for one second that it is only now that the transfer budget has been discussed - if it was discussed last week, then why is it only now that he is having this "wobble" ?

Maybe so, but I would also expect him to do it whilst holding onto the principal of keeping shit players on outragous salaries - we do have our values to respect you know
