Unai Emery

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The fact his first name isn't capitalised in the thread title has my OCD in overdrive....

This all feels so surreal. I never thought this day will come. I thought we would be stuck with Le Fraud forever.

Welcome Unai and best of luck! :barscarf: :barscarf:

No excuses next season, gotta get behind the team now. If Emery uses his pressing game tactic, it will make the atmosphere at home much better.

Fans respond to players busting a lung.

William Gallas doesn't agree with the appointment, feels it should have gone to an "Arsenal man"....This is William Gallas talking, the crunt who sat on the pitch at Birmingham like an over indulged child and ended up at Spurs..
Gallas wasn't and never will be an Arsenal man , he is a whinging moron who hasn't changed since his playing days. Him not liking the appointment of Emery convinces me even more that it is the correct appointment.
Totally agree, any of wengers former melts who don't rate this appointment only justify the appointment even more! No more wanky snow flakes to put up with, the banter era is over!

If he makes mistakes do you think the headline will be "Dad, I got it wrong again!"

I actually walked into a dressing room to play a game for a team that I'd never met and there was a guy who was the double of him and wearing rolled up jeans with docs, I looked at him and said the line above, the other guys pissed themselves and it stuck with him the whole season

I found this quite interesting

https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... ger-wenger
Gem of an article, there was utter turmoil under that fucking dictator and Gazidis gave the caaaant enough rope and he hung himself...
Supporters groups including the 300, who demonstrated need to take a bow too, everything just isolated the old fucker, but it took a long time although 2 seasons without CL must have been key....
Exciting times ahead, I am going to enjoy this close season, will they still be offering seats to watch them ACTUALLY train for the first time in their lives, if so I want front seat.... :box: :box:
I wish our new management the best of British sorting this shower out.....

Emery is expected to bring four of his people with him.

The newcomers are expected to be:
-Juan Carlos Carcedo (assistant)
-Pablo Villanueva (technical coach)
-Julen Masach (fitness coach)
-Victor Manas (video analyst)

Jens Lehmann is expected to be stay on as GK coach. Emery will hold talks with Bould to see if he wants to stay or not.

:?

But how will Bould argue his case if he isn't allowed to say a fuckinn word!??
