Unai Emery

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

John Cross was gutted about Emery  He's been calling Arteta for weeks and the Gazidis thing about 'those who know, didnt talk' etc gave Cross a rocket
I saw this morning that he has blocked me on Twitter. Absolutely gutted..my last link to Wenger has gone :( :( :(

Sounds like he's getting involved in the block party.

There's a block John Cross movement on twitter that's already seen him lose 26,000 followers #BlockJohnCross (long may it continue :barscarf: ) . After he wrote this steaming pile of shit on the Mirror once Arteta didn't get the job.

I hope one of the first things Emery does is to ban that Wenger loving sycophant from ever stepping foot in one of his press conferences ala Ferguson.

I think john cwoss has a 'thing' for wenger, the way he organised the whip round for that magnum of wine and then that creepy, sphincter licking speech he made.

He's a sycophant and a cun.t ergo a Syphocunt. :proudtosay:

The little *word censored* knows that his 'inside source' has fucked off and now nobody on the coaching staff gives a fuck about him or knows who he is. That's why they all sucked Wanker's cock for so long because they knew that the moment he left, their source and contact and their access had gone too. Watching all those fucking parasite reporters sitting their having to introduce themselves to Emery this week was fucking great. All these pompous fucking nobodies who thought they knew it all and were big time, were suddenly fucking nothing to the new manager. It was a refreshing change from the buddy, buddy, luvvie show that was a Wanker press conference for 20 odd years.

After the Arteta nonsense I am happy and very relieved with this appointment and like many others, I am looking forward to a new season for the first time in years. I just cannot see how it can be any worse, unless our spoilt and mollycoddled players don't take well the being coached properly.

The club has been drifting for years but the changes made in the last few months have given me some hope that things on the pitch will improve. It seems that at last we will be watching a team that has at least been prepared for each game :barscarf:

Just looking at the above though, are we sure he isnt Gary Neville ? :rubchin:

Emery has the same addiction to football as Wenger, maybe sharing that might be a bit geeky. I wonder though how many of our squad have the same addiction to the game which pays them so well?
I used to eat, breathe, sleep football. If i wasn't playing it, I was discussing tactics, and reading books about it. I would just love to see some of squad share the same passion for it. Henry and Vieira did.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... Bould.html

Would like to have seen Bould have a shot at it, see if it really was Wenger who was holding him back. Lehman I couldn't give a rats ass about.

Actually this might be better, completely new staff, top to bottom, get rid of all that mateyness that has prevailed for so long. I hope all our players get a kick up the arse.

Me too, just out of interest to see what he could do.................BUT as you say in the second part of your post it's all too late for that for him......time to go.

It has to be a burnt earth policy. Get rid of every influence Wenger had at the club. Scrub it clean and start again with new manager and complete new backroom staff.

I'm just praying Dick's first piece of business on the pitch is to get rid of Comedy Iwobi. The days of training pitch heroes that are game zeroes has to become a thing of the past. No more Alex Mongs, Legohead Denilsons, Theo Walcotts, Comedy Eboues, Alex Hlebs, Bendtners, and Comedy Iwobis.
