Legal position - it all sounds like the work of the EU for the benefit of the snowflake generation1989 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 9:16 amSome of these players reportedly could've lost their lives mate. There's no way you can condone players getting physically attacked by a herd of so-called fans, and said players have every right to decide they no longer fancy representing an organization that failed to provide the necessary means to protect them as employees in their place of work.augie wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 8:35 am
I really dont understand that saga, and I cannot see how those players would have any chance of winning their freedomTbh I think that it would be yet another death knoll for the game as we knew it if they did win their freedom - within a few years we would see players go to courts to win their freedom cos of the mental torture suffered from fans booing their shit performances

Anyway the talk is that a few of those players are willing to rip up their legal challenges IF the club president resigns and fcuks off - gelson is rumoured to be one of those players so it could be that he doesnt really want to leave at all
As for the legal implications, I'm not too versed on that but I'm pretty sure in this case the courts would rule in favour of the players who will cite just cause as their reasoning. Sporting Lisbon failed to provide a safe working environment for their staff and they would really have no leg to stand on in this case.

More importantly if it's that easy to get shot of players why the fuck don't we round up a posse and get the likes of Xhaka and Mustafi suitably threatened

Reported in both The Star and Metro, so I think we can safely say it's bollocks. The Arsenal Way wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 12:33 pmA few reports we have bid £17.6m for Chavski's out of favour Sideshow Bob.

Actually, saw it at Newsnow Arsenal.
Anyhow, it's also now showing as reported by TalkSport, and £18m bid.
So. It's legit now.

Re: Transfers / players in / players out merged thread
With a lack of left wing attacking options and Alex Iwobi not exactly setting the world alight in that spot, do you think arsenal have missed a trick by not challenging Roma for Justin Kluivert considering he is set to sign for them for just £15 million pounds?
Surely Sven must have had an eye out for him as one of the most talented young wingers in the world? Blessed with pace & trickery and a level-headed professional I'm surprised Wenger never made a bid for him.

You know in a weird masochistic way I'm gonna miss the trolley dash. The sense of desperation and hopelessness was somehow reassuring.... kinda like a sneaky wànk in the showers when you are the janitor at an all girl school. Allegedly. Cough.

Suppose it's like talking about your ex that you loved dearly but everyone else hated so you get told to shut the fuck up and move on with your lifeThe Arsenal Way wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 3:00 pmwidsy1984 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 2:18 pmWith a lack of left wing attacking options and Alex Iwobi not exactly setting the world alight in that spot, do you think arsenal have missed a trick by not challenging Roma for Justin Kluivert considering he is set to sign for them for just £15 million pounds?
