If the world cup was played during the domestic season, would anyone in the world watch it ? It is (with the exception of 2 or 3 games) absolutely horrendous to watch
1st half of Iceland game was good tho.

He gave them the softest pen you'll see as well

Even the bbc pundits are saying that the incidents are much the same, so if you give a pen for one you have to give it for both - you seem to want every penalty decision in your favour
You don't agree that their pen was soft especially in comparison with the 2 Kane one's that weren't given?

Fat tongue should absolutely have had TWO nailed on penalties, but the point I was making was that you called their penno soft whilst looking for penalties for england for same offences - either 3 penalties or none imo
Absolute nonsense! Their player just ran into walkers arm. Kane was actively wrestled to the ground twice! Not similar incidents at all.

Fuck your tiki taka and your false nines.

Just launch scud missile corners at your center backs and let the crayon muncher feed off the scraps.

1970’s old skool.

And never allow Sterling to wear an England shirt again. If ever there was a rudderless player without Guardiola to steward him through a game.

Agreed. Reminded me so much of Feo tonight - absolutely fucking clueless. Even though the offside flag was up that miss in the first half was horrific and the tragic thing is he’s missed that exact same chance for City about 4 times last season.

His tiny fucking brain can’t sort his legs out when a cross is fizzed in at him like that and he always ends up bundling it wide from a yard. Thought Loftus Cheek did more in 5 minutes than Sterling did all game (apart from running around as if he’s a turtle head peaking out of your arse which Raheem has down to a tee in fairness).

1970s old skool seemed to work quite effectively.

As for Sterling, playing for Citeeh and playing for England are two very different propositions and the latter shows that he is still very much hit or miss.

There was very little direction in the middle and Henderson just seems to go the way he is facing more often than not.

Wtf was Rashford doing leaving that ball when he must have got a stupid shout from Lingard to leave it - if you're a striker and you have that kind of chance....hit the fucking thing.

Delli ^^Highbrows^^ Alli is the new Stevie Me in terms of the myth being better than the man...now for my dirty moment,I thought Trippier played well..showed urgency when it looked like England were stumbling towards a draw...
Two definate penalties on Fat Tounge, dreadful officiating by the numerous officials..but I did think Tunisia' s was also a penalty..Walker was lazy and careless..England have won their first game and regardless of how late the winner or pedestrian the performance that is all that matters..Not one of the big guns has set down a marker so far..Belgium to a degree in the second half but against poor opposition.

When Henderson is your most creative midfielder, you'd better practice set pieces.

I'm glad we won, but watching Kane, Alli, Walker, Trippier, Young etc in an England shirt leaves me feeling sick and dirty.

it did. pretty much too for Switzerland and Iceland.

a lot of these teams don't like it up em. if we can stop the silly mistakes then once we are one up and the clock winds down these teams have to go forward and that is when your skill players can hurt them.

a draw with Panama and we are through. we'll get dicked by Belgium though unless our back four improve.

onwards and upwards :barscarf:

I would genuinely love to see England win a world cup in my lifetime, just not an England side full of Spuds. Fortunately this lot won't come anywhere near breaking the cycle, not this year or any year.
