I'd love us to sign Draxler, haven't seen him linked recently, though.

I'm still stunned we're only five days into July and we have signed a RB, a GK and a CB.

I'm not used to this level of efficiency.

I'd say Torreira is the most "exciting" of our signings due to his potential. Hopefully we get a winger to be our marquee signing for this Summer.

Chucky Lozano? :rubchin:
@OsmanZtheGooner
Arsenal appear to be serious about Lozano who is also tracked by other teams. PSV will not sell for less than €40m

Have to say that I was impressed by him in the world cup - he seems to be a pacy direct winger, instead of some of those wingers who keep turning backwards or sidewards  I would prefer him to draxler tbh

Window closes in about five weeks - just before start of season rather than end of August? Done some decent business as (jokes aside) the WC does kill the market, although there isn’t as much time afterwards.

If Torreira gets confirmed I’ll be pleased as any decent attacking player would be a bonus given our priorities.

Great goal against Germany. Looks the fiesty bastard type as well.

Like our signings so far. All of Sokratis, Lichtsteiner and Torreira are bastards. Dick knows exactly what we've been lacking.

Still no player sold though - to this point the only departures have been freebies, and they dont bring in funds for our transfer kitty. I know that moving deadwood out (not calling wilshere deadwood btw) in any guise is good, but there is still more than a few that we should be moving on at this stage when there is only little over 4 weeks left to do so. Mustafi, joel campbell, perez, cech and jenks were not involved in world cup so we should be moving them on by now, and wellshit and ospina need to be moved on as soon as they finished in russia

I have said this before, but I will stress it again, seeing who we get rid of this summer is ALMOST as important as who we bring in

Arsenal are currently considering whether to cash in on Mustafi as this would increase Arsenal’s budget and also mean that The Gunners could put funds towards signing Soyuncu who the club are very much still interested in. However, Freiburg want big money. #AFC

Watching France v Uruguay and Torreira can actualy take a corner or dead ball and miss the first man ....as well as shielding the back four .....get him signed up

Barcelona are in negotiation with a British club for Andre Gomes (reportedly Arsenal) and it has been stated the player wants the deal to happen. Fenerbahce now showing interest in Gomes
He's had a shocking season with Farca but is apparently still a decent player. Absolutely not worth €40 million though. Seems every half decent player is worth that these days.

Horny Orny has spoken.
Arsenal hope to complete Lucas Torreira deal next week. Agreed with Sampdoria & 22yo. Medical + signing imminent - depends if he flies straight from #WorldCup to London or via #URU Finishes 1st team recruitment but a younger player for future also likely before window shuts #AFC

Hard to see Nzonzi coming if the pitbull signs as well? Maybe it’s a back up in case the Uruguayan falls through? Hope not!

N'Zonzi is too old, we have enough 27-35 yr old players in the squad as it is, especially as they seem to want big money for him.
