Unai Emery
Re: Unai Emery
I'm too lasy this morning to go back and check who was responsible for it, but going forward can we agree that lacazette is laca, and cazorla is caz ? Calling lacazette caz is just confusing

"Obviously he is getting older but your game adapts, that is what I found, you might not be as sharp as what you used to be but your experience gets you into the right positions."
What that ponytailed c.unt chooses to ignore, is that he was well past his best for a few years before he left, and the only "right position" he got into, was at maine road when he finally fcuked off to join citeeh - I remember him doing more for us when we played citeeh up there, than he did playing for us in the previous 2 seasons

That's DS for you, a fully paid up member of the goalkeepers union. As I recall, he also said lots of nice things about a certain French dictator over the past 7 - 10 years. I remain a fan of DS the player but as with so many former players they don't half talk a load of shite.

I think Ozil should be dropped but Dick will have seen him perform in Spain and knows what he is capable of.
Torreira I'm not sure will be available so I think we'll see

Bellerin-Sokratis-Holding- Kolasinac
____ Ramsay___Xhaka_______Nelson
_____Miti_____________Ozil_______

Ramsay and Nelson are going to have to run their tits off. I suspect Caz and Welbeck will be competing with Miti for that slot and Dick won't blood chambers and Guendozi as starters until after the chavs match. having bought both Torreira and Guendozi it would be odd if he didn't play a 442 or 352.
its a bit shit that our next game isn't until the 26th though![]()

Re: Unai Emery
a few ? - for years he was a fucking liability on long range free kicks or shots. they amount of times he stood rooted as the ball went in the top corner was ridiculous.
Paris was just the start and that was in 1995. he even admitted it one time after a league game where he just stood and watched it go in the top corner " I thought it was going over"

he was another one ruined by fame and an England spot.

Quite agree he was a nightmare at freekicks and can I take it back to two of my favourites - 1991 and the fat geordie fucker's free kick in the semi at wembley - that was about 70 yards out and he got nowhere near it. Then there was the 1994 Koeman free kick - take a look at his starting position for that - mental. I missed the goal in Paris as I had gone to the loo before extra time so had to wait until I got back home the following day to enjoy that one.

he's still working them hard :
The team are following an alternate pattern of single and double training routines while in Singapore. The Arsenal squad landed at 9am in south-east Asia before checking into the Shangri-La Hotel on Monday and then heading straight out for a training session. Emery was keen that his players powered through despite a twelve hour flight from London in a bid to help avoid jet-lag.

Re: Unai Emery
As much as I am all for working these pampered bitches there is a real risk of fatigue hitting a lot of them early in the season. They are not used to this level of physical conditioning and add in this ridiculous money-motivated long haul trip to suck the cocks off our Asian "fans" there is a real risk some of these players will burn out early or pick up fatigue related injuries. We should have done the pre season tour this year in France or Austria.clockender1 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 12:31 pmhe's still working them hard :

its no coincidence that our titles in 98 and 02 coincided with DS missing huge chunks of the fixtures,i personally never rated him,he had one blinding season in 90/91 after that he was just plain average apart from in an England shirt where he seemed to perform heroicsJock Gooner wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 6:38 pmclockender1 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 4:00 pma few ? - for years he was a fucking liability on long range free kicks or shots. they amount of times he stood rooted as the ball went in the top corner was ridiculous.

yeah those two losses we had against QPR - when we murdered them but lost 2-0 was what made George buy him.markyp wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 3:17 pmits no coincidence that our titles in 98 and 02 coincided with DS missing huge chunks of the fixtures,i personally never rated him,he had one blinding season in 90/91 after that he was just plain average apart from in an England shirt where he seemed to perform heroics
he was fantastic shot stopper but he was way too cavalier once he took over from shilton.
