ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The Standard is reporting Iwobi set to sign a new 5 year deal - the only problem I can see with that is that it's with Arsenal.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide has joined Angers on a permanent deal.

When he first appeared in pre-season friendlies he looked good, but there's been plenty of similiar pre-season starlets and I guess Emery didn't rate him, which is decisive at least.
Yes, I saw that he was off which is a shame because I liked the look of him from the few times he played - he looked like a big strong lump at BW the other week. Anyway what do I know - I wouldn't have given contracts to Iwobi or Xhaka so my judgement is clearly flawed

Ramsey linked with Chelski, £30m apparently. How Arsenal handle this will verify to me we are moving into a new era. I will drive him to Stamford Bridge. Something is going on there, they are not buying top quality players any more.

I would have no problem selling him to the chavs, but a player with his reputation and who would carry the british price boost (british players cost more than "foreigners" of equal ability), would be worth more than £30m even allowing for his contract situation

Football will eat it’s own arsehole if ever a midfield consisting of Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley and Sir Flicks-A-Lot ever takes to the field.

That’s end of days shit right there.

We pushed it right up to the brink of Armaggedon level shit a couple times when we had Comedy Eboue on the same pitch as Legohead Denilson, Alex Mong, and Rapey First Touch Bendtner.

According to Takvim, Besiktas have offered #Arsenal a €1.5m fee to sign David Ospina on loan. https://t.co/771yoJ3R0f

US sanctions cut off Romans cash flow most likely.

I'm not sure he has even been let back in the country has he ?

I would not be surprised to see him sell to a Thai or Taiwanese group and bugger off with his cash to Italy.
