In total, he has scored five goals and claimed eight assists in 31 Premier League appearances against Chelsea, United, City, Tottenham and Liverpool
Source Skysports stats.

Opps want him to play every game.

Don't read this eh: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football ... struggles/

:coffeespit:

When you quote blank stats like that without a qualifier you make yourself look even more stupid. Here's some qualifiers for you. What kind of team did we field for those 31 games? A weak defensively shit team managed by a past it old man that did not believe in tactics? Oh that's right. We did. The fact Ozil managed 5 goals and 8 assists in that shit Wenger team only makes him look better ffs.

Now go and find me 3 or even 2 other Arsenal players with better goal and assist stats against those teams since Ozil joined. Then look up chances created in those games in that time and find me ONE Arsenal player with better stats. And then stop posting deeply stupid shite that makes all of us on here look bad.

The way you are talking about him...
errr...

These are not my comments/quotes.

they are verbatim quotes from Ex/current Professional players,WC winning captains,WC winning managers, qualified pundits.

Oh and the rest of the article paraphrases Neville castigating him for losing the ball which led to 2 goals conceded.

. The German was singled out by Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville for his failure to track back in the build-up to Liverpool's second goal, and many supporters were similarly unimpressed.
So this is out of context?.

But well done and congrats on the assists against non elite opponents.e.g the Hornets and Rainbow team.

:coffeespit:

A ball lost in midfield. The defenders had nothing to do with those goals being conceded. Can you read what you are typing?

November 2001 against shit Charlton the shit Johansson dispossessed and out muscled Vieira to lead to Jensen's goal. Obviously Vieira wasn't an elite player huh?  Elite players don't get dispossessed by shit like Johansson right? Vieira "dosent reliaze he no skills".

cant stand Ozil.

He thinks he had the game to glide pass players a la Messi,Neymar,Ronaldhino but dosent reliaze he no skills and just throws up hand in exasperation when ball is taken off him.

One last time. Players lose possession. It happens. It's part of the game. Stop embarrassing yourself.

For those of you that like stats (I'm thinking of flash and DB10 who love them  ), Arsenal have won just 2 out their opening games in the last 5 seasons, and those victories (against palace and leicester) were both because of last minute winners   Think that it is safe to say that we are overdue a good opening day performance

I have a feeling Emery will go for a 4-3-3 4-5-1 hybrid. Lacazette and Miki on the wings with PEA upfront, Ramsey, Torriera & Xhaka in midfield, Ramsey with the license to go forward. I dont think Ozil should start. Bellerin & Monreal should still get forward, with Torriera & Xhaka sliding across to cover when they do. Sokratis & Mustafi to start at centre half. Leno in goal. I think that team can protect itself whilst still offer enough penetration to cause City problems. One things for sure, it wont be like the Wenger days were we pick a team with no defensive plan or structure in place & we do adhoc defending.

Also, PEA Must play off Stones shoulder all game. That guy switches off religiously.
Since when does Ramsey need a license to do whatever he feels like doing? And I always expect to see Xhaka sliding, it's never to cover though. Useless pricks, both of them.

It demonstrates that picking one incident out of context does not prove a point. I have no problem with you not liking Ozil, that is your choice, but just posting silly shit like "he's shit" or "we'll lose because of him" is ridiculous.

It's a forum. Post a logical argument, or even an informed personal opinion, but so far every point you've made about Ozil is either wrong or just ill-informed hysteria and exaggeration. It makes Gooners look like JCL twats.

To quote Wenger - "look", everyone is probably sick of our personal Ozil spat so if you promise to stop posting silly shit I'll promise to stop ripping your posts to bits and we can all move on with our lives. Except augie, who now mistakenly thinks he is an intelligent poster because I complimented him.

Only kidding augie - I still love ya! :barscarf:

True, it's usually unnecessarily sliding into someone's Achilles from behind, out on the halfway line, like a cowardly bitch....
