Emery knows Cech is an experienced player, probably well-respected by the players and other staff so he needs to handle his situation carefully. He needs to give him a chance to show that he can or most probably can't play this way before dropping him. I have no doubt Leno will be in the starting XI before too long.

I'm sorry I don't agree with this. Emery is the boss and he needs to bring the hammer down...if Cech keeps doing what he's doing and costing us points it's Dick who will lose his job, not Cech. Cech is awful, has been for a long time, it's only the cosy, head up their arse players who Wenger indulged for so long who would like Cech to play on ad infinitum to keep the "brotherhood" intact. Any player with ambition wants the assurance of a decent keeper behind him.

So at what stage does it not seem OTT ? I am not a fan of xhaka but can recognise the necessity of playing him at the mo, but dick's apparent preference for Cech and Ramsey are making me question his willingness to be ruthless which is what is needed imo. The question mark of emery coming into this job was his inability to master the psg dressing room, and we may not have the superstars they have, we do have some experienced vocal players in the dressing room that he cannot be seen to bow down to. Unless Leno is a complete dud, there is no justifiable reason for starting Cech ahead of him imo

I just want to see Lacazette & PEA play together. Whats the point of paying 50m for two strikers if you dont pair them? I know once you play two stinkers it has to be 4-4-2 which is very old fashioned. But there must be a way to put both in the team and give them both the chance to strike.

I have always felt you do what the opposition least want you to do, & I reckon other managers rest easy when they see one of PEA & Lacazette on the bench.

4-4-2. PEA and Laca up front. There aren't many better front pairings around. They would scare a lot of teams.
Welbeck and MIki, right and left midfield, up and down the line, supporting the fullbacks as well. Ramsey in the middle with Torreira holding.

Most seem to have Ozil in the side. Why ??. He kept on giving the ball away last week when under no real pressure. Germany saw the light & dropped him - we should do the same. The kid with the hair should take his place & Torrreria DM. Still think we'll lose this 2-1.

Firstly Ozil while not the best player in the world is our best player. The only truly top notch chance and assist creator at the club. He gives the ball away less than Ramsey less than Xhaka less than Mickey Tarragon.

He was one of Germany's best players at the WC. I know thats not saying a whole lot considering how bad Germany where but he was still one of their best. Guendouzi is not a number 10.

Whilst I agree any and every player should not be a guaranteed starter, if you drop both Ozil and Xhaka who do you play in midfield?
