Moving away from the business aspect of our leaving . Many people will point towards these points as their reason for voting as they did .

Bullet points from Mr Juncker's State of Union Address

1. Expansion of Schengen area - removing power from member states on who can and cannot enter their country
2. Creation of a new EU Budget Finance Minister
3. A European Banking Union bringing all European banks under EU control.
4. EU Financial Transaction Tax
5. EU agency tax to tax and control the internet
6. "Good to Go" EU army by 2025
7. Compulsory Euro membership - removing all opt outs
8. Creating a new EU Employment Minister

I can't believe that those that oppose Brexit really want the Euro , want all banks to answer to Europe , want the E.U to control the internet , shutting down on free speech , have their kids / grandkids sent to the Russian front to protect the E.U's gas and oil supply or potentially put down any protest ( see Catalonia ) . Have the E.U imposing their tax system and the imposition of an all powerful president - merging the commission and Council to 1 head of state with a " king" appointed in Brussels .
Few years ago they said that none of this would happen ( Lisbon ) but it's hidden the true objectives of their project I suggest you take time to watch this video , it is quite succinct and exposes the ways of the federalists that wish to take over yours , mine and the lives of all that follow.

Project Fear

No evidence for any of that to happen, yet you would rather believe right wing propaganda than the reality probably facing the country at the end of March

Be that as it may , but all the quotes are attributed to people associated to the E.U. If you care to check.

The Schengen area is no different to the whole of Ireland being borderless really, the same principles apply.

With regards to the Euro, where do you get remainers want to join the Euro? That in it's own right would need a referendum to get the legislation through. I think most people in this country regardless of whether they are brexiteers or remainers want to keep the GBP, especially with the problems the Euro has faced in the wake of the Greek, Italy and Spain financial crisis.

The video is poor propaganda. Do you think the people of a modern Europe would accept being conscripted to protect oil and gas reserves, especially as most of that natural resources comes from Russia anyway?

All of these people that push back against the EU cite Federalism, again I point out the irony of the UK as a former Federalist state (Commonwealth anyone?). I cannot see the EU as an entity ever becoming a Federal State, it would cause an uprising in several countries before it even got off the ground.

There is a clue in the wording of number 7. "Compulsory" followed by the words no opt outs.

Sorry, that's unenforceable and you know it. It would bring down the EU.

This is no more than confirmation bias in my eyes.

Like a lot of brexiteers, you ignore the damage it's already done to the country both in terms of reputation and economic standing. Not forgetting the jobs that are already being relocated into Europe. That was scaremongering not two years ago wasn't it, yet when something like this diatribe comes out on Social Media people latch onto it.

As for the E.u army, there's plenty of evidence that it is an intention .Both Junker and Verhofstadt have referred to it.So you get enlisted and you do what you are told that's how they work. No votes or referendums .Read Junker's speech,it's all In there . Remember no opt outs. It may not be easy for them but it's the direction that they have been travelling since Van Rompuy.

yanis varoufakis

This guy has a lot to say about the Euro and how it is managed by Germany only for the benifit of Germany. He talks about some of the private meetings he attended as the Greece Finance minister during the start of the Greek crisis that could have been fixed if was not poltical reasons, he is not actually a career politican so it's interesting.

Has a few talks and open mic things on Youtube

I'm not sure that would work on modern western Europe, people are very selfish compared to many years ago, and nobody is going to die for that silly blue flag with gold stars on it. Unless there was some serious change in society.... or like the U.S they would setup recruitment centers in the poorest states of the union were military would be seen as a good job.

A bit of topic, but was listening to a podcast where they were explianing that the 2008 banking crisis was the "Last big cash grab" from the western people. Most of the wealth is already in the hands of only a few people, most of the west has less than £2k savings, so thier homes were targeted, there was money tied up in them, so they went after them. There is now a similar derivative scheme in US based on Cars and Car loans aimed at reselling them as A rated debt packages

Have a watch of the film The Big Short and that will explain exactly what happened in 2008. The investment banks can't help themselves when it comes to making money. There has already been talk of similar financial products to the 2008 mortgage bonds being touted around the markets. Shower of wan.kers

There will never be a compulsory EU Army. That is just silly propaganda. There may be a more proactive voluntary multinational EU peacekeeping force along the lines of the NATO model but it will be incentivised, never compulsory.

Haven't seen that film but if they ignored the major role Bill Cheesy Grin Clinton played in causing it then it ain't worth watching.

Interesting aside.... did you know the oft ridiculed and much maligned George W Bush prevented the crash being far far worse than it was?
