THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

TBH probably what got him sacked. Stan must have been pissed with 4.5m of his money being giving to SC when he didn't play all year.
Me couldn't give a fuck... Stan would of just pocketed it himself if Santi didn't get it. Its not the clubs money anymore but Stans.

I'm sure he feels aggrieved and wronged by the Fans , by Gazidis and ultimately by Stan ,if Dick Emry falls flat on his face the will be no shortage of quips by him that for sure but then again if he wins something this year he can claim that's its mainly his team .

Theres probably no Job on the immediate Horizon but there's always a few sackings here or in Italy Spain during the season .
France or Germany might be more a likely place but I think they are less inclined to sack managers mid season !

I do think that he made a bid for the board placement but I think Gazidis threatened to walk hence the Milan rumours .

The sad but inescapable fact is that he refused to adapt to the demands of modern football ,and everyone knew it ,he was years ahead of his time when he came and years behind them when he left !

I could of sworn he said he wanted to go straight back into it.

I still think he'll end up in China or the middle east.

Do you think he could end up at Manure if they sack Moanihio ? that would be so funny.

Probably expecting Dechamps to pass it straight back and bow down to him saying that he wasn’t worthy

No, he will never manage any club again as he was past his sell by date many years ago and everyone in the game knows that.

Villa just sacked Bruce.

I wonder if our ex-manager would like to try to fail in the championship ?
