As for the Sanchez/ Ramsey question: hell no.

Sanchez was a superb (but flawed) attacking player for about 2 years straight and then just a whiney disruptive little prick in his last season before he fucked off. Well past his best and is not liked by most of the players he played with at our place.

He is not the answer to any question.
Question: Who was a superb (but flawed) attacking player for about two years straight and then just a whiney disruptive little prick in his last season before he fucked off?

Answer on a postcard DB10 😉
:rubchin:

Sanogo?

Ramsay's agent confirmed on twitter that he is leaving. the club gave him 'no choice' were their words.

250,000 a week was outrageous - no one in the league is worth that except maybe DeBryune at City.
£250k a week is outrageous but then so is losing an 'asset' worth about £30-35M for nothing. Then there is the cost of replacing him so the whole situation is just complete bollox. Bearing in mind he was getting £100k anyway could we not have bitten the shit sandwich and paid him the extra wages with a view to flogging the fucker 6 months down the line and getting a fee for him. Not exactly an ideal way to run a business but then we don't seem to have had anybody capable of running the club worth a shit for a fair few years now.

When you put in into figures, if we were to overpay Ramsey by 150k a week over 3 years that’s still only about 23m which doesn’t get you much these days in the transfer market.

Which we might be able to swallow if he was a quality player who consistently delivers. He isn’t.

If he wants north of 200k a week he can fuck right off and I wouldn’t dream of hugely overpaying an average player just because we’ve dropped a bollock not selling him earlier.

Get him training with the ressies.

We pay him 200k/week who the fuck is going to take us off our hands? And the bloke obviously only gives a shit about money so no chance he is taking a pay cut 6 months into a new deal.

We’ve fucked up again but giving him a brand new deal will just compound that.

Ramsey was supposed to be one of those 'wonder kids' when we signed him but he's never really lived up to that potential.
He's scored a couple of cup winning goals which was great but he's never been outstanding for us.
He might do well in another team, who knows.
Letting him go would not be a huge loss for us and would save on our enormous wage bill.

Get a decent winger in January please.

I'm only playing devils advocate given the stupidity of the situation. However it will be interesting to see where he ends up and on what kind of money. Sods law dictates that he will end up at a top tier club somewhere and on more than £200k per week, of that I have no doubt. Whatever we think of him he seems to be rated by the football world at large and he isn't being linked to Everton! We have fucked up again and bear that in mind when we have no money to play with at the next transfer window. How the fuck is Sanllehi going to pitch the wiggy cu.nt for more cash for a new player when we keep giving them away for fuck all.

Seems like there is something to these links with the Paraguayan kid Miguel Almirón who plays in the MLS. We were linked to him when he was still in South America.

Is he the best player in our team.......no
Is he integral to our system.........no
Does he work hard with a good team ethic....no

I reckon other teams fans see the goals (cup final) etc, see the highlights and still think he is a quality player
They don’t see the back heels that give the ball away, the flicks that lose possession, the lack of tracking back

Not bothered if he goes, shame we didn’t sell him to Barca for £50m

Tears won't be shed if and when he goes. He isn't good enough for us and that's why the contract offer was ultimately withdrawn. I just hope this would be the case with Xhaka also. He should be sold in January if there is someone crazy enough to buy the fucker.

Verrily tis so...

Arsenal will sign Paraguay striker Miguel Almiron in January. The 24-year-old has scored 12 goals this year for MLS side Atlanta United, and will move for £15m after their season ends in December. (Mirror)

Can we please, for the love of god, stop buying strikers until we have sorted the defensive needs in the team ? We have an error prone/shit german centre half as one of our first choice centre backs, we have a spanish guy at right back who doesnt know when or how to defend, and we have a spanish guy at left full who is too old (and not good enough imo) to be on our team anymore. We have 2 quality strikers competing for a team that only plays with 1 striker, and we have young kids like nelson and eddie who also play up front - why buy another attacker ?? :?

Agreed. Unless it's Aguero or Fat Tongue then why bother? We need top class defenders more than anything else.

Seems that he is an attacking midfielder that also can play on the wing. Sounds a typical Wenger type purchase and probably the report is regurgitated from a couple of years ago.

I don't think there's much to that rumour but considering Ramsey's off soon we probably do need another attacking option in midfield.

More of a need than a centre back or left full ?? I dont think so
