If Brexit had been undertaken in good faith and with the Benefit of the good citizens of the UK in mind then it could have been achieved but the whole process has been mired in political self interest and subterfuge and we will pick up the bill which is a shame .

It's an unholy mess but I don't feel bad about wanting out ,but I do feel bad that we have spent billions on achieving nothing !

Speaking on Sky News, Mr Clegg claimed Brexiteers have been disrespectful to the 17.4million Britons who voted for Brexit arguing they have failed to deliver on "every single commitment" promised during the referendum campaign.

So says the man who has done nothing more than do everything in his power to prevent Brexit from happening. .
Oh the irony.

Had we had a parliament that accepted the result of the referendum and collectively worked to make it so, there would be little that could not be overcome. However as there is a majority of MPs and Lords that are dead set against it led by a woman that in her heart doesn't want it . It has become a dog's breakfast.

Whilst we are quoting how about :- "Never be deceived that the rich will permit you to vote away their wealth."
It would be foolish to think otherwise.

Too many vested interests in keeping us closely aligned.

Then of course another good reason for ducking out the E.U Bilderberg intention :- We are on the verge of global transformatiion , all we need is the right crisis to make the population accept our new world order. David Rockefeller

People like you just back up my view that Brexit is a cult movement - never able to give any reasons why it will be better for the country, just that it must happen.

Very similar to the AKB movement.
All the evidence in Wenger’s latter years was that he was taking Arsenal into decline.

Exactly the same with Brexit - all the evidence points to the UK declining after Brexit but yet you and your cult just can’t see it.

We had a peoples vote ,it was called a referendum ,turns out the majority of people wanted to leave the Eu .
Where have you been for the last 2 years ?????

BTW despite the billions wasted by remoaners and their corporate masters I firmly believe that if there was another Vote the result would be the same ,although I do think this time they will "fix" the result anyway !

yes got that bit - trouble is as I have been saying for the past 2 years Brexit is impossible to actually implement.
that's because all you leavers want different bits and pieces and you start throwing tantrums when you don't get your way.

so for example there are probably 2 clear options now:

1) NO DEAL - will result in a hard border in Ireland. you really think leaving the EU is worth it to destroy the Northern Ireland peace deal ?
2) LEAVE BUT STAY IN CUSTOMS UNION - this would probably get through Parliament as it would have the support of the Labour Party, but I am sure it will just annoy a lot of extreme Brexiteers.

so you see you can't win.
everyone I know has worked out that Brexit is dead in the water and there is now huge momentum behind remaining in the EU.
that will be backed up by the March tomorrow.

good luck with your Brexit but I am afraid that ultimately you will be disappointed.

Rob, as usual you are wrong , I expected there to be no (meaningful) Brexit and have said so on this very forum for well over two years !

David Davis 2016

"if a democracy cannot change its mind, it ceases to be a democracy"

Saturday in London showed that the "will of the people" has now changed. Me and 700,000 others will not be ignored. Brexit will be stopped.
You can thank us all later :)

I would have thought that the aerial shots from the TV helicopter of the crowd around Hyde Park Corner would have given you a sense of the scale of Saturday.

Or maybe that by 3pm Parliament Square was packed with people, Whitehall was packed with people and thousands more were left not being able to get further than Trafalgar Square. Of course you won't have been aware of that last sentence because your right wing propaganda papers would have made sure that it wasn't reported...

I was proud to be British on Saturday. and very optimistic that even if we are dragged out of Europe by dictator May, that we will soon be back in again, because the younger generation will see to it that we will.
