So the victims have beaten ManUre 3-1 courtesy of two jammy goals from Shaqiri. Not that it was undeserved from what I can tell from the stats.

Thats good for us, it keeps the eight point gap to 6th.SydneyGooner wrote: ↑Sun Dec 16, 2018 6:03 pmSo the victims have beaten ManUre 3-1 courtesy of two jammy goals from Shaqiri. Not that it was undeserved from what I can tell from the stats.
They do need to lose soon though,
We were still unlucky not to beat them, which is important to remember.

Re: other matches this weekend
Deflected goals, refereeing decisions every weekend. Their luck can’t last all year.
You look at where they are and they have a brilliant haul of points far better than they are. They have won a lot of games obviously playing well but with a huge dose of good fortune. You wouldn’t say the same of City, either in terms of points haul or the fact that they’ve been playing in second or third gear all year yet thrashing teams and probably unlucky to drop most of the points they have. Meanwhile City have been without de Bruyne all year and Aguero has been injured a fair bit, Liverpool have had no injuries to their key players at all.
Liverpool were made to look very average against City and were phenomenally lucky to get anything and thought they were massively underwhelming against us. Hopefully they’ll get found out.

Pool were massively the better side against manure and could have won 5-1 any other day.
I think they will push city all the way and could even win the pl.
If it wasn't for a billion pound side in city pool would win this league at a canter.
Our Invincibles would struggle to win the league with city in it tbf.

Difficult to compare mate. We won the double with 78 points in 1998. Two years ago we finished fifth with 75 points. The top teams are cruising through games compared to then, probably because of the phenomenal difference in spending power these days.LeftfootlegendGooner wrote: ↑Sun Dec 16, 2018 10:10 pmPool were massively the better side against manure and could have won 5-1 any other day.

Van Dijk is a colossus of a defender. Has to be the best centre back in the league at the moment. Salah has also recaptured his form from last season. Worry about what they could do to us next week.

My thoughts exactly. Wolves did play well but lacked a clinical finisher. Liverpool seem to be able to control games and hit opposition at the right times..Im worried now, about next Saturday and also them actually winning the title.SydneyGooner wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 11:06 pmVan Dijk is a colossus of a defender. What the fuck?
Almost 80 minutes and Al-City are losing at home 1-3 to Crystal Palace.
Chelski are also one nil behind at home to Leicester.
