Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

You have to say they're probably favourites to get third. Just have to hope all this Potchetino to Man U talk unsettles them like it did six years ago when Twitchy was linked to the England job.

What the fuck?

Almost 80 minutes and Al-City are losing at home 1-3 to Crystal Palace.

Chelski are also one nil behind at home to Leicester.
It will be ironic if we finish 4th, but above the chavs not spurs.

With City losing to Leicester, Spurs are currently second. They've been on a tear since we beat them in the league. Very worrying stuff. :(

Looks like a race between the Vermin and the Dippers. Fucking nightmare :banghead:

Fuck off Guardiola

Going to have to avoid all media if I can. This forum is the only safe place.

Citeh are a busted flush! Team of mercenaries, a small club with loads of cash but no history or standing in the football world!
I dont give a fuck but unless youve grown up in moss side then theres no way as a footballer you could honestly say “its always been my ambition to play for man city”
Those ambitions are held bu youngsters all over the world for clubs like utd, barca and madrid the to a lesser extent for the likes of the mousers and even ourselves!
You cant buy pedigree!!
Then youve got the “magnificent pep guardiola” a manager with an ego that would make Wenger look humble!
At least wenger didnt run away when things got tough and he was no longer top dog!
Pep will fuck off in the summer just like he did when miurinho threw him the gauntlet in la liga and when the bayern fans and board seen him for what he is “a one trick fucking pony” yes he’ll be off to a “new challenge” as long as there’s loads of cash!
The downside for us of course is the now unavoidable reality that either the mousers or scum will win the league

Massive dive by Salah today to win a penalty. I’m sure the FA will again use the power they bragged about introducing to ban him for 3 games.

Don't be silly. It wasn't his fault. They need to ban a Chelsea player or a Leeds player or in actual fact , every player from any English team for 6 years.

Presumably this unwritten rule that you are allowed to go down if there is any form of contact (including initiated by yourself) applies?

Anybody see his second against Bournemouth when the defender intentionally stamped on his Achilles and he still stayed on his feet because he knew he had more chance scoring a one-on-one than a free kick? Still, any sort of hand on him at that pace is enough to unbalance him?

Sad thing is it would send out a real message to give him a very justified ban and see him miss high profile matches against us and City.

Liverpool will win the league and probably go unbeaten and out Invincibles will be forever forgotten by all but us gooners.

Fuck it I'm not watching any more football :?
