Well, there is absolutely no consistency whatsoever from journalists, expros or managers regarding diving or “buying” fouls. Until that changes you can’t fault players for throwing themselves around, whether from a brush of the shoulder or zero contact whatsoever. Let’s remember that we would have been no better off results/league position wise under Wenger - and he had the whole club obeying his every demand for more than a decade. Hell of a task for anyone to walk into ”Arsene FC” and expect them to get things on track in the first season. Getting hammered sucks but let’s stay realistic and withhold judgement until this time next season at the very least.
