ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

erm yes. we had the chance to sign him when he was young but of course the W.I.C. (wanker in charge) wouldn't pay the extra few quid to get him. He's too old now and past his prime.

Cahill may well be 33, past his best and not the player he used to be..........I'd still pick him ahead of that calamity Mustafi any day of the week.

ESPN FC | Borussia Dortmund expecting a bid from Arsenal for Cristian Pulisic. Arsenal would like to land themselves an American talent like Pulisic, due to his commercial value in the States, where their majority shareholder Stan Kroenke also hails from.
Mirror | Arsenal are interested in signing highly talented 18 year old Norwich City right-back, Max Aarons.

The £15million-rated youngster has impressed in the Canaries’ fine start to the Championship season.

El Neny would have struggled to get a game at someone like Brighton or Fulham but we ended up with him for years.

As if we expected otherwise........Ornstein claims Arsenal boss Unai Emery only has a ‘modest budget’ to work with in January.

They are getting him for free - how many of them would have come in and spent £40m buying him last summer ? The answer to that is a big fat zero cos they know he aint worth it

No. Not even nearly. I don’t mind Ramsey as much as others do but fuck me he is out of his depth with us never mind PSG, Madrid, Juve, Bayern.

Don’t let international football and its piss poor standard fool you. He could be a good box to box midfielder but is technically really poor - awful feet, poor vision and can’t unlock a defence.

He will either get paid a fortune to sit on the bench somewhere like Chelsea or if he cares about playing football will go somewhere like Everton.
