As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Right let's have a look into my crystal ball shall we?
I suppose the easiest prediction to make is that we wont keep a clean sheet, 2 goals minimum needed for the win here.
We'll start sluggishly, no tempo, no flow or shape to our game, full of misplaced passes by disinterested players and at best we get to half time drawing.
Double substitution made at half time or shortly after to see if that can somehow kick-start some sort of performance. Stat to flash on screen saying we have the most goals score by subs in the league - neither sub scores. Heading into the last 10 minutes another stat pops up saying we have picked up the most points of any club in the league during the last 10 minutes of games but we pick up fuck all points and the game whimpers out into a sea of nothingness.
Anyway disregard all that, I actually think we'll win this one comfortably enough
My window cleaner just been and he's a chavs supporter, he reckons win for them and easy one and as much as I agree with him no fuckin way am I letting him k ow that.
I reckon that the players will be up for this one, and Chelsea have problems scoring goals these days.
Bellerin back is a big boost - we need him to run at players again.
I'm expecting a close game, defensively we still have a few issues so they might just nick it, but I think this is a game that we can go into optimistically.

Bellerin?? He never goes past players because he can't cross the ball. He mostly always plays back or inside, or inside and backwards.....I've heard so much about his blistering pace, still waiting to see it.

the fact is we were a lot better when he was in the team.
it is only last month we put on that impressive display to beat Spurs.
yes long term there are clearly big problems to address, but I still think we can get back to being competitive again this season.
