Yep and hopefully that nothing of a club will go out of business and their shower of furburger gashmonkey fans can go back to their full time hobbies of sister-fucking, wife-bashing, inbreeding, and sexually molesting local dogs, dead cats, and in some cases car exhaust pipes. :D

Jesus yeah. You'd see them goofing around in the background behind the SlySportsNews guy. A mob of sweaty fat no teeth morons, all looking deeply confused, wondering why someone was pointing a box at them, and why someone was talking to the box, and then a plane would fly over and one of the cùnts would point at the sky in terror and yell "it's back!" and they'd all scarper off to hide in the nearest hedge.

Watched the second half of last nights southampton v derby cup match in the pub last night, and it was a disgrace what happened - for derby's first goal FOUR derby players were offside when the ball was swung in, but not alone that, cos TWO of the c.unts ran across the keeper trying to get a flick on and obviously distracted the keeper. These clowns then went through var and decided to award the goal - if two opposition players running in front of the keeper doesnt class as intefering with play, then I dunno what does  The tv was on mute in the pub so I dont know what the commentators said at the time, or what the pundits said afterwards, but that goal turned the game last night and it is shocking when they have the use of technology and still cant get the decision right  It pisses me off to see fat fwank lumpolard getting any lucky breaks like that.

On the subject of var, why wasnt it used in the geordies v blackburn game the night before ? :? The geordies 3rd goal was clearly offside, so wtf happened there that it wasnt checked ?

Btw I am absolutely 100% against var - 2 incidents in 2 nights shows that var is not gonna be this saviour for the integrity of football, and is not foolproof either. For me football is a human game with human mistakes - if keepers, strikers etc can make mistakes, then why should referee's not be held to the same standards ? Crooked refs like mike dean I have an issue with, but a ref making a genuine mistake should be entitled to the same latitude that players have

The most cringe thing about last night was right at the death a Southampton player took a tumble in the box and when the referee waved away appeals for a penalty the crowd (or the few thousand that bothered to turn up anyway) started chanting VAR VAR VAR

The game is dead.

sorry augie but I don't see the argument against VAR at all

last night derby had an offside goal ruled out, the decision was minimal in real time but thanks to VAR it was correctly ruled out, I didn't see the incident in the seconf half you're referring to but in my mind there is no way anyone can ever moan about officials or refereeing ever again unless they're willing to admit we need VAR or any equivalent technology. The game is "human" as you said, but it is still humans making the decisions, they're just slowing the game down.

I thought VAR was only supposed to overrule clear and obvious mistakes made by the officials yet all I see it doing is microscopically trying to see if a quarter of an inch of the tip of someone's pecker is in an offside position.

Some of these decisions are absolutely borderline and most definitely not clear and obvious mistakes.

Of course we can - we moan about keepers, defenders and every other type of player when they fcuk up, so why cant we complain about referee's too ? It isnt as if you are holding up a foolproof method of eradicating mistakes here as an alternative - everywhere we turn we are seeing wrong decisions by var, AND it is also proving to be a slow process on occasions too. In the nfl coaches get 2 (sometimes 3) "challenges" where they can dispute a referee's call in a game, but that is a stop start game anyway so the interference is minimal - fans are already (rightly) complaining about how little actual gametime there is in 90 minutes and how much time wasting there is, and var is only likely to compound those issues imo

I'm 100% with augie on this. VAR is fucking shit does not work 100% of the time and will kill the game dead.

"Clear and obvious" is the instruction which is reasonably simple but then match officials are fuckwits ergo they will make an arse of it. The Derby boy's right foot was possibly a inch or two offside but then did they get a ruler out and measure down from the defenders shoulder to see if the offending foot actually was beyond the shoulder and this is fucking ridiculous and not a clear and obvious incident. Kane was way more offside the other day but that was ok apparently.

I’m all for var, it was used for 3 of the goals in the Derby game and all 3 decisions were spot on. On the Kane incident, you can’t blame var if someone is incapable of using it.
I heard that idiot bastard Jenas say “this isn’t what var was brought in for, it was brought in for howlers” well excuse me you bastard faced spurs c u n t, but this is exactly what var was brought in for. To help referees get impossible to call close decisions right!!
We’ve been saying for years that officials need help with the pace of the modern game and var can do just that.
People moan when goals are given when a player is offside, now they’re moaning when they’re ruled out because it was fractionally offside, you’re either on or off, theres no grey area.
Seems to me some people are never happy unless they’re moaning

On what basis was derby's first goal a legal goal ? Four derby players offside when it was taken, and two of those ran across the path of the keeper as they tried to get a flick on it so they clearly ran towards the ball/inteferred with play, so again again I ask how did that goal stand ?? :? :?
