ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nantes striker Emiliano Sala is believed to be in South Wales discussing a £20m move to Cardiff City. Cardiff City have £20m to spend on a player but we haven't a bean.We are thirteen seasons (isn't it?) in the glass soul-less bowl and we cannot compete with a newly promoted club with half our capacity..Not saying we should be competing for this guy but my point is that we can' t make a bid for anyone.
As a sidebar to this £20m bid by Warnock how long til the hypocrite is on Goals on Sunday with his two pals moaning that "big clubs never give English lads a chance " ?
Sad news about what's happened...

I wonder if they've stumped up the cash yet? :? :-P

Having a transfer thread for Arsenal's business is like having a skiing thread on a forum about Sudan.

How fucking shit a non entity of a reporter would you have to be that your only available port of call for an opinion piece is JOLEON FUCKING LESCOTT.

https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/footb ... nis-Suarez

And there are some fucking priceless quotes and snippets of genius in that "report".

Apparently Lescott "has told Unai Emery to concentrate on bringing in quality defenders this month". Well I'm sure Dick will sleep easier at night now he's had that sage advice. Never mind we have no money. Lescott knows what we need.

Another priceless gem from vagina forehead: "at the back they would need some more quality. I think Koscielny's probably still their most consistent and best performer". Consistent. Yep that's Kos that has not played for months and has been anything but consistent since his return.

Well you are quoting from a star reporter mate, that's just barely about half a rung above the sunday sport in terms of class. I'm actually quite impressed they can quote JL and not just his mum or his mate

As per @lequipe Arsenal in talks to sign Christopher Nkunku. Early days & complex. #AFC want loan + option to buy, #PSG want cover + new contract pre-loan. Seems 21yo keen & not key to Tuchel plans. Seen as versatile + possible Ramsey successor. Full consensus among AFC hierarchy

Some pundit or ex-geordie player was talking about the geordies transfer dealings and called them shambolic, and I'm looking at it thinking it aint any better for us Gooners either  We have a gifted young spanish player that we want to sign and who wants to join us and who is playing for a club happy to sell him to us, and we cant even get that deal done  From what it seems now, this deal is on the verge of collapsing simply because barca can no longer be arsed waiting around for a potless shower of c.unts in london to commit any money to the deal, and are now offering suarez to mid-table spanish clubs like getafe that can actually afford to pay the asking price

We are a joke :banghead: :banghead:
