Sky Sports says Arsenal are on the verge of signing Yoan Gouffran from Caen and then loaning him back to them for next season. He is a striker and he scored 15 goals helping Caen win promotion.One for the future maybe.

Just another example of why AW doesn't sign english players.

This guy top scored in the french second division last year and was the league player of the year and apparently worth £2m. His english equivalents Nugent and Chopra are going for £6m and £5m respectively.

Is a passport really worth 3-4 million?

Havent we got the rights to a striker playing in Spain in a similar deal to the 1 that Gouffran might sign as? Carlos Vela i think? It is mad how Michael Chopras worth anything more than a million hes rubbish!
