Other Matches Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ffs stop it mate, he's average at best, he's made so many errors and needless fouls lately he's beginning to resemble mustafi.

If it wasn't for the lack of quality centre halves at Arsenal over the last 10 or so years he wouldn't even be considered a good bench option
Sokratis is comfortably our best defender. On Monday, for example, the nearest any defender came to a fuck up was Mustafi.

Not sure what games you been watching this season mate. He was immense against the spuds earlier this season.
He got knocked around like a rag doll by rondon

I'd only keep holding out of all our defenders, the rest I'd give away.
Adams & co got torn to bits down at Southampton one year by a 17yr old making his debut......and I’ve also remembered that fat f**k Mick Quinn getting an opening day of the season hat-trick :censored:

No-one get 10 / 10 every match, he is a proper defender, no frills, no fancy footwork that gets him in trouble and we have missed that for years.

Kos is finished, Mustafi isn’t up to scratch, thank Dog we have had Sokratis there for stability.
Seriously expected better response than comparing the legend TA when he was a kid learning his trade to a 30 year old veteran.
Did you actually read the post ?

Adams was mentioned but at no point was he compared with Sokratis

By the way Shearer’s debut was in 1988, in in 1989 Tony was a league title winning captain.

Honestly, I read half of it and got bored but retorted to the relevant part

Anyone else see that shite on the Beeb website. today "What would it mean to Liverpool if they won the league" Didn't waste my time reading it but can imagine what was in it.

Anyone who wants them to win it, especially if they remember the 80s, needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

Remember what it was like in the 80s and multiply by 1000000 with the hyperbole and JCL *word censored* of today mouthing off

Obligatory offside goal gets them.back into the game. Martin Tyler must have needed three changes of jocks in the second half...

Scouse toxicity levels are dangerously high right now ,they are quite literally seeping from every
poisonous pore on the planet and are threatening our very existence.
For years through pesticides and the occasional slip up they have been kept at arm's length . But no more I fear. The 2nd coming of the Scouser is fortold in revelations and brings pestilence and plague fire and famine, the last age before Armeggedon. The Liver bird is clearly the whore of Babylon. This it it chaps we are done. the

Fuck me gently while I sleep, VAR had an easy decision to send that CUNNT walker off for a head butt and totally bottled it.

You see this is where honest players get fuck all, the Brighton player was clearly head butted by walker but did not make a meal of it which keeps walker on the pitch, now had that been any one of the city players rest assured they would throw themselves to the floor and the player gets sent off.

Ludicrous.

Btw keown just said a Brighton player performed a clever dive to get a free kick (he said this after it was shown in slow mo to be no contact), wtf, it's fucking called cheating isn't it.

Anyhow the commentator does respond with "Well I wouldn't want to applaud him for it"

Couldn't believe he wasn't sent off. That useless cu.nt Anthony Walker managed to fuck it up first of all by only booking him and then VAR fucked it up completely by backing him. He doesn't technically head butt the boy but the downwards movement of his head is so sudden and violent that he has no control. He had to go. Christ you get sent off for so much as flashing a stud at an opponent these days. Might as well give up on VAR as it's run by dickheads. Keep goal line technology because the dickheads aren't involved in that so can't fuck it up.

Lloris....saves a penalty against us, gifts the dippers a goal with an absolute howler, now saves a penalty against the scum :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I still think that Mahrez penalty miss against the victims and Aubamayang's against the scum are going to be haunting us come the end of the season.
