After that game emery, auba and (to a lesser degree) saka can all fcuk off -
1. Not one of emery's changes made sense today - after bringing saka on we totally lost our shape and looked to be playing 4 defenders, 1 midfielder and 5 attackers Taking off tierney was ridiculous. Allowing ceballos and (to a lesser degree) ozil play the whole game was crazy. Why wasnt pepe brought on ? Would Willock for Ceballos not made more sense ?
2. Auba back to his usual lazy cant be arsed bullshit again. Worked fcuk all off the ball, and when crosses went in (especially ozil's ball across the 6 yard line) he was fcuk knows where hiding
3. Saka man, you were only on the pitch for 20 approx. minutes, so would it kill you to maybe run around a small bit and be seen to be trying ?

Well that was predictably dull, no wonder there are so many empty seats at the bowl of corporate bordem, even for a 3 o'clock Saturday game now.

Edit: In fact worse than Ozil being a CDM was the point late on when Martinelli, brought on to replace a striker, was on the edge of our box spinning and turning with no out ball for about 20 secs, thankfully he eventually beat 2 players and got out our half but ffs our team is an utter shambles

That was the point I made earlier - the team selection and set up didn't look right to me even before kick off, but after the subsitutions we had no system or formation at all
Another 90 minutes of my life wasted on this shambles of a team.
Why the fu.ck do they still read out the team in number order. It makes no sense as Laca is the 3rd or 4th name read out which makes you wonder if he is getting a run out in defence - completely shit idea whoever is behind it at the club.
So forced to actually try and work out the formation for myself and they were virtually lined up as a 4-2-2-2 as Wolves kicked off. An overloaded midfield full of individuals who loved to run with the ball when they should have passed and when they did pass it was passed to death. No wonder Auba and Laca looked fu.cked off. Even when Tierney and Chambers offered a bit of width the ball often didn't reach them. Yet ask these midfielders to defend and they have a nasty habit of disappearing.
