I see we have the world's foremost football expert back slagging all and sundry yet never comes up with answers himself apart from giving the worst manager I've seen at The Arsenal more time

The I "never go to games unless I get a freebie type", yet seems to get freebies every fortnight.
:D :D :D

I rarely even accept the freebies these days!

I've never declared myself the world's most foremost football expert, so not sure where that bit came from??!!

Sorry that you disagree with my view about wanting to give Emery more time, but what can I say, that's my view and if it turns out to be the wrong way I expect everyone will be quick to point it out. I still think that 11-12 games in the season when its only just developing into your own squad is a bit premature to pull the trigger. Performances of late haven't been good and I'll admit at times I'm baffled by some of the substitutions and the chop changing of the squad. If that's still going on towards the end of the season and we're going backwards then I'll stand by what |I said that 4 transfer windows and 2 whole seasons is enough to expect some improvement

I don't disagree with the suggestion about Allegri - if we want someone with a proving track record of winning big trophies, and who knows how to build a solid defence then surely he would be the most obvious candidate?

If we can't get Allegri then unlike some others here I'm prepared to give someone new a go, yes possibly Freddie or Vieira, rather than someone like Rodgers and Tuchel who to my mind have had a go at big clubs and failed with their methods and ideas. We'll never know of course if Freddie or PV4 are the men until they get the chance.....a bit like the Chavs would never really know with Lampard, but in fairness to them they've given it a go when it could easily be argued that he perhaps wasn't experienced enough

Don't bother biting steve o
Oh dear and here pipes up nostradamus, the one who sees everything 1000 years before it's happened

Sean Dyche would sell Aubamayang on day one and replace him with a 6 foot 4 inch clogger to go around elbowing everyone in the head.

You mean in the same way that GG sold all our best players and signed John Fashanu when he took us over?

Just proves my point about the modern day football snob. Must admit though Rodders it surprised me coming from you !

Much rather have someone like Marco Silva who went from a small club like Hull to Watford.....then when handed the keys to the chest at Everton spent 28 million on Iwobi, :D Still he might just keep them up having spent 150m and with beautiful strikers like Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert Lewin, who needs an old Luddite like Dyche eh?

The point is you don't have a clue how someone like Dyche would do at the Arsenal because he hasn't been given the chance. Lets go for Tuchel instead so he can win one domestic cup every so often and play pretty tip tap......bit like the prick we wanted rid of for more than a decade

SteveO with the squad we have and the cluster fucks going on at the other teams normally competing for top 4 we should piss third this season (a gulf behind the top 2 but comfortably third none the less).

Instead of doing just that we're imploding (the exact same as we did at the business end of last season with 3rd in our grasp before he shit the bed). The (rare) wins are ugly, the draws calamitous and the defeats are as limp dicked as anything Wenger conjoured up.

We don't attack teams, we can't defend so we just drift through games doing a whole load of fucking nothing.

There's no miracle turnaround coming, he isn't going to find "it" whatever the fuck "it" may be because he just doesn't cut it.

If we bin him off now and make the right appointment (neither Dyche or Tuchel  ) then top 4 is easily retrievable but if we sleepwalk on any further with this fuckwit the season goes down the shitter before Christmas.

So one big defeat and they sack their manager, where as we take ritual humiliations year after year and Wenger keeps his job, now Emery clearly not up to it which was obvious by the end of last season and again he keeps his job.

We have zero ambition. Pathetic club thanks to KSE. :censored:

Genuinely, does anybody on here reckon that we would actually sack Wenger when we inevitably lose at Leicester?

Kidding yourselves.

I sooo want to stuff Leicester, I fookin hate them ! Cheaters with scummy fans !

What worries me though is Emery will set up exactly the same as Saturday against them and then from 30+ shots on goal how many will they score ?

Chris Wilder - promoted through 2 divisions, 7th in the league. Dinosaur

Sean Dyche - smallest budget in the PL every year, promotion, quality for Europa League, consistent well organised PL team. Dinosaur

Ronald Koeman, Slaven Bilic, Marco Silva - handful of wins. Geniuses. Give them all the next big job in town

If social media existed in 1986 I'd love to have seen the string of comments on here when we were considering appointing GG. Dinosaur

If there had been a Portuguese or Dutch bloke that had won promotion with their equivalent of Millwall however they'd all be perfect for the job

Anyway.....most of this club's modern fan base truly deserve Wenger back in charge as caretaker and one of the knobs I've listed above on a 5 year deal
OK calm down Billy Brexit, we get it, you want a British manager rather than dirty old Johnny Foreigner huh?

:D

Piss take apart there is none of those managers you named that I'd like to see at our place. But especially not Cum Gargler Dyche. Classic big man for the small job, just like Moyes Curbishly Martinez Billic Redkrapp Fat Sam Pubis etc.

In Emery's post match presser he said that we were spot on with our tactics..................bear with me for a moment because I'm actually speechless on that one.........

Ok, so tactically he wanted to let Wolves have lots of possession and 25 shots on goal? He wanted to play a defensive midfielder at the front of a diamond? and a no.10 in defensive midfield

Just like Arsenal, you cannot 'defend' this man!! He genuinely does not have a clue!! He sets out game after game it seems to 'draw teams in' by letting them come at us and the plan is to hit them on the counter attack.......when we don't have a player that is capable of making the transition from defence to attack! We try to play out from the back with defenders who aren't capable with the ball, he plays two wingers and leaves centre midfield like a desert with no-one to be seen.

To top it all, he has trouble communicating and if you believe reports (from many different sources), the players take the piss out of him for how he speaks and can't understand him properly. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

You cannot argue for this man, it is actually negligent to have someone so incapable in charge of a major player (supposedly) in it's field.

If he's not sacked within the next week then it looks like another long road to change at Arsenal and it will show a damning piece of Arsenal algebra.....................Sanllehi+Edu+Emery = Gazidis+Wenger

I don't want Maureen or Simeone , but Emry has to go and the sooner he does the sooner things can get better because I honestly feel the team couldn't possibly do worse even with Mr Tumble in charge .
He has settled on his playing style and team formation and it's probably the worst idea in premiership history,it can only bring more pain and suffering !

ok I am now leaning towards wanting Emery out.

however I don't see any evidence of Arsenal making any moves to get him out.
you also have to look at things from their perspective. If you look at the big picture Emery is actually fulfilling all the criteria asked of him.

Europa League - 100% record so far this season so on course for qualification from the group as winners and then in a good position to go for the trophy again in the New Year.

League - currently in 5th position and 4 points clear of Tottenham and Manchester United so arguably doing better than expected at this stage.

so fighting for the top 4 on two fronts and with new players gradually being integrated into the first team.
what's the problem ? :D
