As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Being french, living in Paris and watching quite a few games of PSG, I can assure you that Kurzawa is as thick as a human can be, has the level of a ligue 2 player in France, and is totally uncapable of following any kind of game plan.
All my friends that are PSG fans already sent me text messages to thank us for taking this guy out of their team...
According to @GoalBR, #Arsenal took another step in signing Bruno Guimarães with Edu meeting representatives of the Athletico Paranaense midfielder in London between Friday & Saturday. So far Arsenal haven't made an official offer but that should happen in the next few days. https://t.co/i4OaXloAdp

Why is it we're never linked with a player you think 'hmm hes not the greatest but he'll do a job', they're either a complete non-starter who wouldn't touch us with a barge pole or people we shouldnt be going near with a barge pole with a huge steaming dog shit on the end of it
Just once I wouldn't mind seeing a player approached who isnt utterly ludicrous one way or the other

And thanks for the welcome! I'm actually not that new on here. Suscribed back in 2007 under the name "FrenchGun" but could not find my password anymore.
I don't post a lot but have always loved come on here to read the different opinions. (There was especially a time where this was the only place where you could critisize wenger without being banned )

Arsenal started their game against Sheffield United with Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka as full-backs with Arteta admitting he wants specialist defenders to play instead.‘We are playing with full-backs that are not full-backs,’ Arteta said on Wednesday. ‘They are wingers or central midfielders and could we afford to lose full-backs? No, but we don’t have any full-backs.’
this is a Manager who cares,.... we don't know the financial situation but this is nice to read,
along with rumors of a DM coming in this Jan Transfer window hopefully to truely help Torreira out.
this is Foward thinking, it will take time, I hope that in the coming weeks Arteta improves the efficiency of the team, optimisies it by
moving on some old players [Musti & Xhaka I pray] & bringing in Improvements! I back the Manager!#COYG
Im not holding much hope Arteta can build a great team. I dont think he has the charisma or pedigree to form a team capable of being competitive at the top end of the table.
Arteta was one player who played in the shadow of the likes of Pires, Henry, Bergkamp, Vieira, Campbell, Cole. We had worthy players like RVP Cesc, Sanchez even Nasri. However I put Arteta in the same category as Walcott, Eboue, Diaby, Giroud ect. Players who played for Arsenal in the 2010's who would never have got a look in if they played for Arsenal in the late 1990's to mid 2000's. The Arsenal team of the late 1990's to mid 2000's 's built our reputation as a modern day great club, and a lot of dodgy players that came after them thought they were great because they played for Arsenal, when really their contribution was allowing for a perpetual slide that has come home to roost this season - where we are looking at a genuine mid table finish.
Arteta has failed upwards. He was a decent player for Everton and got a move to Arsenal after we lost Cesc to Barcelona. He was a decent enough player in a sliding Arsenal team, & due to his time at Arsenal it put him in a position to be manager, as this board would rather someone they can handle, rather than someone like Klopp or Simeone - managers who would shit if the board didnt match their sky high ambitions. So Arteta gets the job under depressing circumstances and now we must patiently wait for his inevitable failure.

According to that piece of scouse filth - He sooo enjoyed saying this out loud
"See Arsenal have signed that has-been Boateng on loan"
Anyone heard anything?
Now you can see why I hoped he'd get the sack...he hasn't stopped gobbing off all morning about the Salah goal...
I did say it was odd that Salah fell over at the slightest puff of wind when facing an opponent in the penalty area, but managed to stay standing when there's only the last chasing defender and the GK to beat.
